  1. As graduate student Jane Goodall did not have the plane fare to go to Africa so she did her primate research outside the Greenock shipyards at the end of the afternoon shift.
  2. Firhill on the other hand nestles like a jewel in the setting of Glasgow's leafy West End with its many bars, restaurants, museums, theatres and places of learning and on the bank of one of the country's most beautiful waterways which is made colourful and vibrant by the pleasure crafts which bob by delightfully on the glistening, clear water. 3. The Smiths-William it was really nothing
  4. Green Gartside & Alexis Taylor-At last I am free
  5. British ravers planned to make Rothesay and the Isle of Bute the rave capital of the world but the Cal Mac ferry was cancelled. They found it easier to get to Ibiza and the course of music history was changed.

  8. The Twilight sad for sure, Specials and Son Volt also should be worth a listen.
  9. The waterboys-Kinkys history lesson
  10. A lot of rumours at the time that he scored a lot with the bhoys WAGS also.
  11. Gordon Lightfoot-The wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald
  12. 3 crosses from the left in the last few minutes failed to beat the first man. That drives me crazy.
