  1. When can Sevco next buy players .... Christmas next year ? Probably half way through a Second Division season ?

Rangers ban is up until the 31st August 2013. However, with the 1st of Septamber next year falling on a weekend, it wouldn't be a surprise to see the clubs given the Monday the 2nd September 2013 to register players as well.

    Sneaky sneaky.

Does anyone know what the average wage was at Gretna when they took a wee stroll through the leagues ?

Didn't they have half a dozen or so full time players on £600 odd a week and the rest of the squad part timers?

  2. Didn't Craigy Craigy Whyte do this when he took over at Rangers? Put players on unusually large wages? But his plan was scuppered due to the astronomical tax bill which took HMRC over the 75% mark?

Is this Chuckie Greens way of covering his back at the end of the season? Incase he has to turn round and blame the authorities 'bigoted agenda' for not letting them jump 2 divisions? Sevco become the major creditors at liquidation mark 2?

  3. Please let chuckie be unable to pay the chuckle bros. this tit for tat shite i have read in the last 7-8 pages makes me despair and be thankful i support a crappy wee team like ayr. i need a shower to get rid of this religion shite.

I can't see him having a problem raising the money. He isn't really putting that much in.

20 investors at 500k each. £10 million to see them through this current patch. Green also trying to shift season tickets by appealing to the orc masses with his "bigotry agenda/persecution complex" nonsense to add to this pot.

If the Tommy from Glasgow thing is to be believed a share issue in October to raise another £20 million. The orcs (and investers who read the MSM) may actually be daft enough to invest in the holding company. Sevco (or whatever they're calling themselves by then) still maintain controlling interest in the football club (again whatever they're calling themselves by then). Having said that, we all remember that they couldn't raise money when Murray tried it a few years back. And the RFF only raised a couple hundred grand when the club was actually dieing. Anyway, additional 20 million anticipated.

Lots of rumours Sevco have been promised top flight football next season. Again downside is that Green was made a lot of promises of the course of the summer which would have happened if not for the uproar from the other fans. Recurring them with my theory here is there would be alot of assumptions made by Green which may not actually come to fruition.

If things go back to the way they were next season (ie massive sweeping under the carpet) then Sevco could be a cash cow again. I think that's what Green and his investors see. 500k investment sees a potentially decent return. If it goes tits up then he sells everything to Tesco.

It really is a win/win investment for him.

  4. For people named Bigot.

37px-Wiktionary-logo-en.svg.pngLook up bigotry in Wiktionary, the free dictionary.40px-Wikiquote-logo-en.svg.pngWikiquote has a collection of quotations related to: Bigotry"'Bigotry' is the state of mind of a "bigot", a person obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices; especially : one who regards or treats the members of a group (as a racial or ethnic group) with hatred and intolerance".[1] Bigotry may be based on real or perceived characteristics, including age, disability, dissension from popular opinions.

He who throws the first stone.

Maybe you should email this to Charles Green.

    Seems he likes throwing stones.

  5. Just reading it through just now but one bit included in the 'Patting yourself on the back' section is this corker (10.8, p36),

"The history and spirit of the Club have been preserved by the sale which completed on 14 June 2012 and it is now the responsibility of the new owners to secure its future."

    Despite saying in section 6

6.1 As set out in the Proposals, a CVA would have enabled the corporate entity formed in 1899 in

which the business and assets of the Club vest, to continue to trade

6.3 Participation in European football has historically generated significant revenues for the Club and

coupled with more straightforward approach with the SPL a CVA was therefore an attractive

framework for the Club to continue to trade in its current guise.

6.6 In the few days prior to the meetings HMRC confirmed that having had the opportunity to consider

the CVA Proposal, its vote to be cast on the day of the meetings, would be to reject the Proposal

in order to allow the subsequent appointment of Liquidators. Liquidators have a number of

investigatory powers not available to Administrators which will provide the opportunity to pursue

(former) Directors of the Company accordingly. A CVA and liquidation cannot run concurrently in

    these circumstances.

6.7 As a consequence of HMRC‟s vote, the meetings held on 14 June 2012 were a formality to

declare that the CVA Proposal had not been passed by creditors.

    Edited cos I missed bits.

  6. Apologies if already been posted. It's Duff and Phelps' interim report to creditors.

    http://www.rangers.co.uk/staticFiles/a2/b6/0,,5~177826,00.pdf

My favourite parts are, how much Duff and Phelps have charged (at 6 minute intervals mind), how much Duff and Phelps owe our old pals Media House for "media consultancy" and the trading loss of £4million quid since they went into administration.

  7. RAW viewing figures are shite right now. They are absolutely correct to confirm The Rock's appearance. They need as many people watching as possible.

Agree with this. And I'm sure they'll have various other unannounced surprises anyway.

Can't believe I'm saying this but Impact really is the better show just now.

  8. larger nations? name any who have played the game for a similar length of time that we are better than? and when was the last time we "outperformed" anybody?
