Come on hibs, have the jambos shitting their wee pants about their European spot until one of the OF inevitably win it.
Always next time, chum.

They know how this all works very well.

Another derby pumping handed out by the Hertz, but another moral victory/dominant display/we were the better side performance by Hibs, so everyone goes home happy.

Win tomorrow and he'll fancy at least a semi.

Aberdeen should just feel fortunate they get to share a pitch with Heart of Midlothian, and that we never made it six/seven/eight.

We've yet to win a game at ER under Robbie, which is where any nervousness comes from. We should be winning it but like TW said, we've every chance of throwing in a shocker and Hibs winning isn't exactly the biggest cup shock ever.
I think we'll win right enough
Somewhat amusingly, Neilson is in the stand for this one.

Was my post about Sridhar's latest shameless gaslighting episode and how Sturgeon was hoodwinked by her removed?

Of course he will , but that big B !
He has got the fearsome serve , hasn"t he ?
He's two inches shorter than Murray, tbf, and not as #hench either.

There's somewhat of a fairytale that his next match is against the man who thought he had been the final player to beat Andy at the Australian Open ever.
Unfortunately, big Bautista has won his last three against Murray - two matches last year pretty comfortably. He also leads him 3-1 on hard courts (tied 3-3 overall).
Hopefully Andy is absolutely buzzing to be competing like this again, though, and sees this as a massive opportunity.

Chokeinakis will be having PTSD for the rest of his days over this one.
Also, are there worse people anywhere on the planet than loudmouth Aussies? NITPMHO (not in this poster's most humble opinion), tbqh (to be quite honest).

The problem is that when we were losing to Fiorentina with half a team missing, Aberdeen were winning League Cup ties against Annan and Partick Thistle. So, for some of the less on the ball, the narrative became free-scoring Dons and crisis-club Hearts. At least in their minds.
Now that reality has bitten (as predicted), they're swinging about for something to make them feel better. So, the fact that we performed to par is just forgotten. Doesn't fit, I'm afraid.
Indeed. Of course, playing against Serie A sides and sides chasing the Turkish title will only serve to improve our standards - even if we were taught a lesson in those matches.

I’m fully aware of the short term continuation of 3rd gaining group stage football, amigo.
My point was it won’t last, just like the old firm didn’t.

If we qualify for the Europa/Conference League group stages three years on the bounce that will be £15m in the bank. That sort of money will have us miles ahead of the rest for years to come.

Hope he can recover well for round three, as like Loki has said, the draw in his bracket up until the semi-finals has completely opened up. If he could have another deep run in a slam, who knows what it could lead to.

That is absolutely fucking astonishing, btw. I genuinely can't comprehend how he has done that.

The good co efficient will soon evaporate as you get pumped out the groups again. This season the co efficient must have taken a hammering. By the time that filters through the prize for 3rd will be back to qualifiers.
It’s hardly in cement that you will finish 3rd forever , unlike the teams for the top 2 places.Europa League or Conference League group stage qualification is guaranteed this year and next for whoever finishes third and/or wins the Scottish Cup, friend.
Hearts also performed to par in Europe this season. We beat the team we should have beaten, and lost to the teams that have larger budgets than we do.
I would hope we can at least match that next season, while surely the Old Firm won't be as poor as they were either.
2 hours ago, GreenGray said:Yes, the standard of the league was so good last year that the other European qualifiers were Dundee United and Motherwell.
I know plenty of Hibs fans who referred to the league as shite the season we finished 3rd also.
The league is shite. Thankfully we're above all that. Probably why we utter horsed Aberdeen last night.

Probably the most concerning thing. When you went 2-0 up I’m sitting thinking hearts have been pretty shite. Yet they’ve attacked twice and scored. One a simple throw into the box and one a simple ball over the top, albeit a good finish.
That's one way to put it. If Xavi had made that pass it would have been in his career top 10.

It's amazing how many 'progressives' are unaware of some of New Zealand's vile racist and discriminatory laws.

That is the joint highest win against Aberdeen. It last happened in 2010

Aberdeen have to go back to 1991 for the last 5-0 in their favour
Also a reminder that the Hertz have the superior head-to-head record in this fixture.
