    Realistically I don't think any of us expected Rooney to have anywhere near the impact he's had. So in all honesty it may be the case that getting any decent money for him is a welcome and pretty unexpected bonus.

    Definitely need defensive cover. We were lucky that McCart, Kerr and Tams son all stayed fit largely. A couple of injuries and the whole balance of the side could be knackered. A striker that's not a goal virgin and a deputy for Spoony would be nice as well.
