  1. Thanks for that. IMO It just doesn't appear to be fair to ask a league champion to have to play a runner up from a similar league based on the catchment area.
  2. Auchmuty High School community astro in Glenrothes has recently been downgraded due to lack of maintenance caused by cuts in funding by Fife Council despite being constantly booked, so it is interesting to know there is a secure fund set up. I wonder if it only applies to all or just to certain groups.
  3. . Why should the SOSL champion be forced to play the EOSL runner up ?
  4. Money for the town ? 100/150k from the Kelty community funds signed off by the provost Jim Leishman and they couldn't do the coal race on the gala day because the club got all the money.
  5. You may have spent thousands, but according to the Kelty chairman £7 million from Fife Council and business investors have been ploughed into taking Kelty forward. It's not surprising that they have bypassed you by some distance, £7 million would help most junior teams "
  6. Lets be honest, Kelty played a master stroke by entering the EOSL when they did as there was only one genuine league opponent to challenge for the league and then a SOSL team to get in the LL. Basically 3 cup finals to get into the LL ( Both games against LTHV and a game v the SOSL champions), the rest have been cannon fodder. Given the number of teams now potentially moving to the EOSL these teams could face a long time trying to get out of the EOSL league because even if they do win the league they could still possibly remain in the same league depending on how they fare against the SOSL winners. Remember only one team can possibly be promoted every season and the season could be finished early. Even the league winners may not move up a league. IMO Bonnyrigg are realistically the only team that could emulate what Kelty have done this season.
  7. And the teams who are jumping into the beazer league will still be travelling to tweedmouth, Eyemouth and Coldstream !
  8. I can see Linlithgow (who ARE licensed) winning the east superleague in season 19/20 and playing in play offs against EOS/SOSL and WOS sopposition to get in the lowland league
  9. Same tier level as the EOS, and that the SFA have put an embargo on junior teams getting a licence at the moment. BOOM
  10. Heard it was confirmed today that the juniors will be in the pyramid at tier 6 for season commencing 2019/2020
  11. Heard tonight that only 5/6 of the applications will be accepted
  12. The evidence is there gogsy if you wanted to find it and looked hard enough.
  13. Touch of class, respect and appreciation from Bonnyrigg in this statement, unlike a number of clubs who are jumping ship and slagging off associations and individuals. Good luck to Bonnyrigg
  14. I thought this was the junior forum ? Does the lowland league and EOSL not have their own section ?
  15. Next thing will be clubs having to pay the National Minimum Wage, and the involvement of HMRC !!!!!!!! Minefield
  16. Does the contract not say the club and set up eg. Sjfa ?
  17. No, players who may have just signed a 2 year contract to play with a club in the east region juniors only to find out his terms and conditions have changed or are changing.
  18. 3 divisions in the east region next season ? Superleague, South and North or will it be the same set up with reduced numbers
