I've seen it, but I can't quite believe it.

Saw this when I was at the match on Saturday. I thought it was brilliant and one of those things that you only find in "non-league football". I did wonder if he bought a season ticket, which is why the club embraced it or if he was just someone being a bit of a chancer. Imagine that though, you could just please yourself with a cuppa or a beer, I loved it.

I hadn't been to Camelon in a long long time, many a year, but it's going to be a regular haunt for my son and I. We love to travel around the grounds when we can't make Stirling games, and the 2 of us really enjoyed Saturday and are looking forward to getting back.

when you’ve only been given the same budget as last year

I was disappointed the budget couldn't stretch to a couple more players too.

How do people know this?  Genuine question.

When Darren Young has been promoted previously, he has also stuck with the same squad so, in the summer when all but Denholm stayed, I put this down to his loyalty again.

  3. Popped along to the Camelon game yesterday, as I occasionally do, and have to say they were so unlucky against CSS.

3 penalties in the game and the Ref had a howler in each of them. First was outside the box, and a soft push, the second was denying a clear Goalscoring opportunity, yet no card and even into the next day, I have no idea what the 3rd was for.

Camelon huffed and puffed and looked like the Lowland League team for long spells. They can be proud of their efforts and quite rightly gutted not to be going into the next round.

Just seen The National's setlist from Dublin last night. We are in for a treat on Sunday.

No idea how, but I had never heard of The National before reading this, quick search on Spotify and I must say I like what I heard, right up my street.

Unsure if he’d want to move away from Glasgow, but McCall does have experience getting teams out of a mess. (albeit he hasn’t always managed to do so within the season he was appointed)

Seems to have always had a good eye for a player and can create a pretty decent championship outfit, but just can’t go any further than that.

Out of a lot of the names mentioned, he would be one of the better options.

Would have to agree with this and can't believe McCall hasn't been linked to more jobs or has been out for as long as he has. He's a safe pair of hands at this level and has been for as way back as his Clydebank days (i'm showing my age now), and I can't think of any real disasters during his spells in management.

  6. Still got 3 more gigs of the year and the 3 would probably fall into this category.

Although loosely these days, Tide Lines at the Queens Hall in Edinburgh, although it's going to be more stripped back and chilled out versions of their songs, I think it's safe to say it'll be a fantastic, powerful set and I can't wait.

I'm going back to see Torridon again, they were unbelievable at Drygate in Glasgow so I simply had to see them again so got my ticket for PJ's in Dunfermline. That'll be another cracking night, and a venue that's probably not utilised enough. Then finally, to end the year, what better way than to see Skerryvoe on the eve of New Years Eve, in Stirling, in the Albert Halls. Safe to say it'll be a riot that nigh.

You could probably fit the home and away fans into the pie kiosk for all those likely to turn up on Saturday

Though to answer question everyone is in the main stand with away fans in the left

Just lurking around threads as I do, guessing attendances have dropped dramatically since leaving Broadwood then?? I know results and performances have been poor but I still assumed that you carried a "big part time lower league support".

The polls got the result pretty much bang on:-

    July 2014 avg: 43% Yes : 57% No

    Aug: 43:57

    Sep: 45:55

Which polls are these figures taken from Lurkst??? I'm only asking out of interest as most of the polls I have seen the media report on over the last few years, point to Yes being in a majority from anything from 52% to 55%

I don't get why Nisbet gets no game time at all. Have him and Clarke falling out or does he just no rate him?

Only Clarke can answer that, but I suspect he sees him as some kind of a reactive option rather than someone would can fit into the system he wants to deploy.

he'd be our top caps winner easily if it wasn't for his injuries. That 2 year spell with his mysterious knee tendon injury and this past year.

Having mcgregor and marshall available at the same time also cost him.

100%, I had a quick look there and he is on 74 caps. Had it not been for that injury and the 2 keepers mentioned then there is no doubt he would have. For me, I loved Andy Goram, he was one of the reasons I wanted to be a Keeper, but there could be a very strong argument made that Gordon has been our best ever.
