  1. Would be a far better option than absolute donkeys like Sammon and this Todorov character. We've already suffered enough with having to endure Mackin, albeit for a mercifully short period of time.
  2. A bit of guile and creativity in the final third really would not go amiss because, once again at home, we failed to trouble a bombscare of a goalkeeper for 85 minutes, only looking threatening when Keillor- Dunn was on. Would like to have seen him start today in behind Rudden. Petrivicius is very inconsistent and McLean has not impressed at all. We should be looking for at least one genuine winger/wide midfielder. At the moment, we are sorely reliant on Rudden for goals and, by the looks of it, DKD for any creativity. Not enough.
  3. We don't need a replacement for Irving, who hadn't kicked a ball since September. We need decent, preferably experienced players. 24 minutes for Bury?!. No thanks.
  4. Your league position is a pretty big consolation tbf. We haven't even got that
  5. Drop the boy EdiBairn a PM. Tommy Robson is his expert subject, he'll give you the lowdown
  6. Hopefully no chance of Irving returning. Had a couple of decent performances right at the start of the season, but nothing after that. Completely incapable of imposing himself on the game. Could not even make the bench on Saturday. Absolutely no room for any passengers in our current position. Presumably Hearts will be looking for him to get more game time, that being the case he won't be coming back here. A genuine wide player is much more of a priority than another midfielder.
  7. Thankfully your opinion has proven to be wrong on, well, pretty much everything really.
  8. What is "interesting" about it? Given the shameful history of Dunfermline Athletic fans in relation to this particular player, it really is not a road you should seek to go down.
  9. You'll be disappointed then, there is no chance Paton will be going anywhere, plus he is on a two-year deal. Muirhead's beyond abysmal performance against Dunfermline is hopefully the last we have seen of him.
  10. I've absolutely no idea. They are far from the only club interested and I highly doubt that Sunderland believe his development would be best served by joining a club one off the bottom of the second tier of Scottish football. I may well be wrong.
  11. Not to us. There's a lot of interest of him from other clubs higher up the food chain. A very long shot that he comes back here.
  12. What about a couple of weeks ago when Craig called out your lies? Remember, when you went scurrying away for a few days only to return several days later talking copious amount of s***e. How is that email coming along?
  13. We've already seen how shit he is. The answer is extremely. He's been here half a season and not made a single worthwhile contribution. I didn't even realise he was on the park until about 25 minutes into the game against Dunfermline. A ghost. The only memorable thing about him is his alleged wage at Stamford Bridge. God help us is we are still relying on him come February. Hopefully by then he's long since been dispatched back to academy football, to which he is presumably more suited.
  14. Aye, imagine having the temerity to be glad to be rid of the manager responsible for signing the biggest collection of dross in the club's history. Houston and Hartley are fine for clubs like Greenock, but not for us.
  15. And if Ray is the "outstanding" manager you claim him to be, he will also not have failed to notice the utterly ludicrous display from your mate Captain Fantastic whose defending at both the second and fourth goals is a sackable offence in itself. I trust Ray will have already backed up his words in the post-match interview on Saturday by informing "Super Aero" that he's played his last game for the club.
  16. Dumbuya (who?) and Russell (who?) are both out of contract in January, as is Bauben, so it won't cost a penny to empty any of them and good riddance, a criminal waste of cash in each case. Irving's loan is up so cheerio to him. Haber is not wanted back at Dundee, so unless we have a break clause there is a chance we are lumbered with him for the full season. Similar with Sammut, if there is any chance to cancel the loan and send him back, take it, a lost little boy more suited to academy football. It's not possible, financially or logistically, to dump the remaining impostors in bulk, so of the dross still under contract, I'd be looking to offer severance terms to at least Lewis, Dallison, Fasan, Kidd and Captain Fantastic. Petravicius is injured so won't be going anywhere and the likes of Harrison will probably stay if only by default as we are not going to be able to divest ourselves of the whole lot in one window.
  17. What job can he do exactly? Certainly not a footballer. There could not be a more fitting captain for this bag of utter dross.
  18. Liam Craig is a regular pick for an established, well-run Premier League club who are light years ahead of us both on and off the pitch. There is zero chance of him coming here. File under Alston, Burke, Yorke etc. Folk (well, one complete clown in particular) are posting any drivel and it's discussed as gospel, or like there is at least a chance of it happening. I'll be happy (and surprised) if a club in our dire state can attract a couple of players from the likes of Raith Rovers.
  19. In our area of the market, you can get players in by paying transfer fees and offering players more money than they are currently earning. That is certainly the only way a club in our dire position are going to be able to attract players of a sufficient quality to give us a reasonable chance of staying up. So it comes down to financial backing again. If the major overhaul is not achievable until next summer then fair enough, but we'll be doing it as a League 1 club. It's that simple, as starting February with a core of the current dross still in the team means certain relegation.
  20. What would be the outcome of this scheme for the current major shareholders? Presumably their stake holding would be reduced, but would they remain in a position to influence the running of the club? That would be a major disincentive if it is the case. The whole discredited regime needs swept away in its entirety.
  21. No he doesn't. You make it sound like a binary choice - stewardship by either the hopeless or the corrupt. About time we tried stewardship by the even moderately competent, which would be a massive leap forward from the omnishambles we are now. Seems to work for plenty of other clubs of no greater resource or potential.
  22. And apart from craven boardroom sycophants like yourself, no Falkirk fan would trust the present regime, especially that shambles of a chairwoman and CEO, to run a bath either. Time you took another "break" from this forum, make it a long one this time.
  23. It won't. Nothing less than relegation will be required to get rid of this utterly shambolic pair. Almost reached a stage where it becomes a price worth paying.
  24. I'd be more surprised if they haven't. I'm sure they'll find some way to pin that on the supporters too. Fortunately, it's one bit of bad news they won't be able to bury, spin or simply ignore as I imagine Morton will be shouting a decision in their favour from the rooftops. And rightly so.
