Can only echo what’s been said, superb effort from Nelly to organise and get all those players along.
Class from Al to sponsor it is well.
Let’s hope that’s a line in a sand under last season and this is the start of a much more positive period for the club.

Why, has he fallen out of favour?I assume he meant it’s because he will get a club higher than the lowland league.

Can you recommend it, looks a wee bit sketchy, I pass by it frequently and the doors are often open and never seems to be anyone in it? Has had a lick of paint recently right enough.
Almost certain it will be the closest boozer to Edinburgh Uni’s wee ground at Peffermill, there are hardly any round there at all.
Nah it’s rough as f**k but right up my street. The Grey Horse is a good boozer and about equally as close.

Edinburgh Uni’s ground at Peffermill is about 10 minute drive for me, it’s a neat wee ground, but tiny.
And for anyone really skint or tight, you could watch the match from afar for free from the path that goes along the bottom of Craigmillar Castle Park (a lovely walk it is as well).
Decent for nipping into Oman’s pre match.

To be fair, if they were replaced by 2 big tier 6 clubs, like Tranent & Auchinleck Talbot, I doubt the averages would have been much lower.
They wouldn’t be. And if you/when you replace the Uni dross with Pollock and Linlithgow attendances will go from strength to strength.

Cammy Gill is the only one I’d want to keep. There’s players that are good enough for the Lowland league but we need a fresh start.
After the performance in the play off no one really deserves to stay. Gutless.
I don’t want Mo Ro in charge either. I don’t think he will be - based on a conversation with him, he does not like the majority of our squad either.
Let’s hope Darvel don’t win the play off.

9th could play the winner of an East/West 2nd place play off. The winners of the 1st place play off would be a straight replacement for club 42.
Eh?
Anyway, while we have a lowland and highland split there shouldn’t be automatic promotion from both. The HL doesn’t have the depth that the LL does/will and it would be mental to promote a team from that league every season. The playoff between them works for now, club 42 should get automatically relegated.

Outstanding fiction piece from “callous pint”.

I'd be surprised if we kept many of the current team on? No doubt we'll end up with Kyle Miller (C) and Robbie Buchanan each week.
I’d hope not anyway. If those two are still there we may as well call it a day.
If Mo Ro is still there, based on a conversation with him, there won’t be any players left. Doubt he will stay though.

Berwick are having a right go at the LL next year, Darvel will too (if they go up) and I’d imagine Cowden will have a a decent team too.
Theres no way it’s a gimmie for Darvel but there’s no doubt they will have the best squad on paper.

Probably a good time to book Bill Copeland, if anyone was thinking of doing so. Bargain rates available.

Dean is hardly saying he wants Cowden players sent off, it’s just a generic comment about football generally. He says he wouldn’t want us to go down ordinarily as well.
I 100% want opposition players sent off too. I’d love Bonnyrigg to get a couple of red cards on Saturday. Non story. It was a deserved red regardless as well.

Christ that penalty looks worse on video that it didn’t in person. Mental decision.
Re grounds. Their is an SFA criteria. Give me a ground like Bonnyrigg that’s absolutely not modern in any way but sits in the heart of the town over some generic garbage like East Fife or Dumbarton any day. It will be absolutely fine to host league 2 football and 3/400 fans a week.

It wasn’t a penalty, if that’s a foul in the box there would be fouls at every set piece however, it all comes from Miller not being strong enough and allowing himself to get into that position. Poor play as well as poor officiating so we can’t just focus on one aspect.

Wow, the could be a league clinching goal.
Thanks Muzza, I can’t believe the EOS website still hasn’t updated the score or league table.
Can’t actually see anywhere officially reporting the score so not much they can do I guess. As you say, huge goal.

Thought the booing and general abuse of Dean Brett was extremely classless from a small minority - I’d imagine it wasn’t regular fans.
He did wrong, was punished and moved on. No one should have any ill feeling to the guy any more. Us being shite doesn’t mean we need to start that shite.
I love giving ex players a bit of friendly stick but that wasn’t needed IMO.

It was a bit better think it would have been a different score 11 v 11.
Are you coming over on Saturday?
It was my intention to yeah, the third goal maybe killed it though. Haddington get awarded the trophy the same day.

Weren’t much better before it sadly, Andy. Embarrassing.

Similarly, it's handy Cowden coming down as our league is a complete fucking shambles (something for you all to look forward to!) and it's a glorious away day.
Berwick are going at it hard next season to win the league it looks, few impressive signings lined up.
Thomson is away to EK so we can all drop the conversation around him. He looks completely disinterested warming up yesterday anyway.

Does anyone know how Oakley v Lochore finished?
2-1 Oakley. Last minute goal.

We deserve to go down and the club can still prosper in the LL. The last thing we need is fans turning into doom and gloom merchants.

Lost for words, all ifs and buts
Was it over the line
Was it a penalty
Was it a sending off
Those 3 decisions if wrong have had a massive impact on the final score.Yes it was over the line. Probably wasn’t a penalty but Miller was too weak as usual. It was a pretty harsh sending off.

We can all say what we want about that performance from the referee today but the bottom line is that we are gutless, spineless and feeble with absolutely no character, along with having some players who are just useless. Pathetic. Pathetic on multiple levels from the top to bottom. A BOD who have backed a manager who, by all accounts possessed a pretty decent resume but somehow made a rip roaring c**t of it today. Shocking team selection and dreadful tactics.
We're fucked, the tie is as good as over. Sammy and Barrowman the only two players worthy of wearing the shirt today based on endeavour alone.
Well played Bonnyrigg.
This is spot on other than the Barrowman comment, an absolute nothing player. Like the majority of the team.
Ross got it wrong big time. Got all we deserved. All that experience on the bench and we churned out garbage.
