  1. The question is can I buy our season tickets now with a clear conscience?
  2. Bugger the score, just come through the game with no injuries.
  3. A small squad and a far too small squad are very different things. Our squad is clearly far too small.
  4. Very optimistic thinking we can get by with a squad of 18 until January.
  5. Cannot possibly put the blame on the those choosing to boycott for the ridiculously small squad that we currently have. The BOD/MSG have blanked the £800,000 investment from the fans consortium, those delusional old men and egotistical incompetents are wholly responsible.
  6. They are monumental c***s. The club is a prisoner of their egos.
  7. Reduced to scrambling about looking for players desperate for a game to enable us to put a team on the park. Sad, sad times.
  8. We could always promote a couple of academy players to fill the gaps...
  9. We probably have the quality but will have to be very lucky with injuries, suspensions and loss of form.
  10. This is now my way of thinking after a lengthy chat with someone who was at the meeting and the many reports posted here and elsewhere. My heart says boycott but my head says protest long and loud. Time for the young team to earn their stripes, songs and banners at EVERY game. PS Sandy Alexander is a micro penis.
  11. Nonsense, the lad is good at his job but most competent BDM’s or Sales Managers would achieve decent results assuming the product is attractive.
  12. I saw them very fortunately scrape past the worst Falkirk side that I have seen in 50 years supporting the Bairns. Awful team, awful approach to the game and their management team are arseholes.
  13. Can’t agree that it was meaningless. Obviously in a two leg cup tie the overall win is the sole aim but you cannot dismiss a ridiculous result as meaningless.
  14. By far the worst ever result in Europe was Sellik getting their arses handed to them by the team from Gibraltar a few years back. Nothing else even comes close. Also us against Vaduz saw Eddie May up against Pierre Littbarski, hardly a fight of equals.
  15. That is a shocking result against a team of pub league standard cluggers.
  16. Just received the email with the survey results which are even more overwhelmingly anti BOD/MSG than I expected. EGM on Friday looking to be very interesting indeed.
  17. Am I being overly cynical (almost certainly) by mentioning that our newly appointed Captains faither is good friends with Lex?
  18. Supporting a football club is a passionate affair. Feelings run high and opinions are strongly held. Division is an unfortunate but inevitable consequence of where we find ourselves after the disgracefully inept and woefully out of touch behaviour of those in positions of power and influence at the club. My choice is not to renew my season ticket or attend home matches until change is underway, hopefully the EGM will begin this process. I certainly will not criticise any fan for turning up and supporting the team but I honestly think that pressure must be maintained on those in the comfy seats to help drive change, after all taking the fans for granted is their default setting. As I am far too long in the tooth to be screaming blue murder at them I am protesting by withholding my custom. Really looking forward to supporting the team at Ayr next week. COYB
  19. First home game that I have voluntarily missed in years. May be a token protest but just can’t bring myself to give these people my money.
  20. Running an Academy is not a production line of guaranteed year on year first team quality youngsters. Barren spells will happen but at the time the decision was taken to close the doors the signs were that a good new crop were about to emerge. Very poor strategic decision that has set the club back years.
