We need a hell of a lot more than "a rub of the green" to get us out of this farcical shambles. One small positive is that we are not playing against great players, this is the second tier of Scottish football after all. A lot of organising and a couple of defenders who are not a bad as the current Norman Wisdom tribute acts then we MIGHT have a chance.

I remember telling someone just before the season started that my optimism was based on Hartley sorting out last year's crap defence. I really slaver a lot of pish at times.

With everyone fit we may just about be able to field a team capable of picking up enough points to keep us in the fight until January but as you rightly pointed out we are desperately short on quality and depth. The summer's transfer activity couldn't have been more damaging if it had been done as an act of sabotage!

In fairness the Commercial team are doing a fine job. Very little (if any) free space left anywhere in the stadium for advertising and if someone is willing to pay for sock sponsorship then bring it on.

Froxy is a natural number 10, anyone expecting him to do defensive work doesn't understand his game. Get him another 10% fitter and we will have a serious player.

Mitchell played pretty well today but agree with you that it is too soon to say he is better than Fasan.

The ball stuck to him like glue, great touch and very confident on the ball always looking for a pass never once kicked the ball away.

Pretty entertaining reserve game this afternoon. Finished 1 - 1 with County winning on penalties. Froxy the stand out player for us with honourable mentions to Sammut, Russell, Dunne and Jarvis. Mackin came off injured as did Mitchell after making a save in the shoot out.
