  1. Lennox thomson hardie mcmanus are the loanees, id only keep hardi if he was trying to get rid of the loanees. should be looking at letting go of skacel and roberts. Done nothing for us.!
  2. Just breifly read the back page of the press and it states he wants to sign a player to boost the squad with the frees up wages from stevenson and syme. Also he would love to send 1/2 loan players back to clubs and sign 2/3 players big yogi.... he go bring back tade
  3. locke is to blame for whats going on. we have so many players in the squad. Change it up, mckinnon struggled for a short time at starks then he had the balls to change the way we played. Davidson and callachan have now played too many games whilst the previous week they were awful. Why keep craig barr on if we aint going to play him? God help strikers having to come up against a back 3 of mvoto bene n barr! Stevenson can play in midfield. Just fucking mix it up a bit!!!
  4. Didnt think mcmanus was a development loan as he is 22? Hardie deal could be done as part of a move involving david bates to rangers on a permanent move. Hardie is itching for game time as he down the pecking order for some reason at st mirren, rangers or the player will not be happy with that.
  5. Every time weve lost jason thomson to injury or suspension we struggle, losing bobby barr at the same time hasnt helped us as he creates so much for us, even just one off chances to win 1-0! But getting jason thomson back is a massive must for us, clearly not every fans favourite but brings something that seems to settle the team,
  6. Under20 development loans have stipulations, mainly that no fee is required (ie) percentage of wages, and they are availble for there parent clubs development squad. The confusion is now coming because of this daft challenge cup!
  7. The rovers board today announce reduced gate prices for the season ahead £15 for adults £5 for kids with a paying adult. lowest in the championship i believe. its what the fans have asked for so fair play to the board for listening. Only time will tell if we can get more folk in!
  8. I think the cup games starting early is playing havoc with transfers, folk are panic buying/signing, and players jumping ship early doors leaving other teams short and fighting for the scraps amongst themselfs. Brutal, plus loan deals for season long loans dont usually happen till nearer the end of july start of august once teams have had enough games to eveluate squads,
  9. We have vaughan stewart court. They be ok for the first two friendlies. Two strikers arriving tomorrow for trial id imagine that be the reason why we playing forfar tuesday.. Gives locke and jackson a look early doors at what theyve got.
  10. Nothing like the townies as they wear black we wear navy blue, 😂😂😂. The pictures dont do it justice, the tracksuits were all worn by players today and they are clearly navy blue 😂
  11. Locke was very interactive and happy to speak, hopeful of having the squad complete by the first friendly and then add to that squad if he feels the need to with loan signings or further free agents, they hoping to have everyone returning from holidays and sickness monday at the latest who will be joined by two more trialists and the guys in on trial just now are showing great promise, but forwards are the top of his list, and both him and darren jackson have a list of potential signings to work through over the next few days, On the away strip i thot it was honking in the picture but when i got to starks it looks cracking, the new leisure wear the players are wearing will also be on sale and they are really smart,
  12. I completely understand both ray mac and gary lockes decisions on the gk position, you want your nomber one and number two keepers in training every day. You want them competing to keep the as strong as ever, you want the full squad in training every day to be a team and a unit. Regardless who they are how can it be ok for one player not to train but expect to be on the team sheet come saturdays. Not fair to the rest of the team. But for me it seems the rumours may well be true that cuthbert is ready to jump to united if they can match what we want for him considering he on a 2 year deal. Other than that, laidlaw has refused the contract over the weekend and has now been told its no longer on the table, and cuthebert and lennox will now fight it out for number one jersey, and locke wants proper competative edge in training.
  13. To be folk forget his tenure at hearts? Nae c**t wanted the job, club in turmoil, points deduction zero budget, but still took job, and almost done the unthinkable in the end and kept them up if they had only a few more games they wouldve! Killie job was a job he shouldnt have took so quickly after hearts as they were just as skint, and nae c**t wanted that job either and killie are still scunnered! Last season we appointed ray mac and for the first 5 months it was hoof baw to a soley wated budget on jon daly and the wee non event wighton, only till january when ray finally had the baws to go n ask the board and fans for help did it turn round.! Give the new gaffer a chance ya miserable whores, no wonder players dont want to play for us le gaffers want to manage us or even supporters want to come back cause honestly some supporters are a disgrace! Seriously, Gary lockes level will be the championship, even will love nothing more than giving the hibs a hiding, oh and killie when they come down too.! And well the rest of the boys will be lifted for the united and townies games.! Wait til 4 games in and weve got 12 points from 12 after beating united hibs killie and the pars. Job done.! I believe the board will have asked where people want to go with us, and vice versa where the board want to go, after ending last season in play offs it has to be same again!!
  14. There is no harm what so evere in any football manager talking with other clubs to see whats on offer, the only issue is the press, automatically make a mountainnout of a mole hill, its no differant to any joe bloggs working for one company but wanting to discuss job prospects with another company, the only differance to it is football is in the public eye more so deemed totally differant however raith just pay rays wages it is a job at the end of the day, more fool us for thinking it is otherwise.! I hope this is ray just showing his ambition to our board considering all the gumph weve been told about another season with an even lower budget, im hoping ray going to talk to united he has been offered hee haw more than what the rovers board will offer him to stay. I really believe we could do something next season with a few new tweaks, we had a couple of passengers this season who were a waste of a wage and a jersey, id rather see longridge connolly hardie panniyouto signed on for next season than anderson petrie mccord thats for sure. Good on ray for putting himself in the shop window and prove he is very ambitious to go places but lets see where he can take us first! Personally i dont think united is a great position for ray to move too, sinking ship and fast in my opinion especially if thomson sells up.
