  1. Posted the following in July and got bit of a backlash, "One of the biggest differences i fear is how committed the players will be. I appreciate they will all be professional but can't see the same commitment from them as the Dumfries boys. I also felt more of an attachment (rightly or wrongly) as they were one of "us" . Feel free to disagree." Just wondered if folk still disagree to the same extent.

  3. Er maybe its because they're good players who have played a large part in Queens success!
  4. Just glad that Danny didn't end up at Rangers. Thought he was can entertaining player to watch and would have liked him for another season. Not sure how good a move it is for Gavin, know a lot will disagree but he might struggle to get a regular start. McShane moving to Ross is an astute move in that he should get plenty of game time and good experience at a higher level.
  5. Holt was prob the most talented of our current squad, so not too suprised.
  6. wonder if Hibs ( or was it Dundee) will be so keen on Reilly now after the last 2 games? Def could do with another season in the championship for his development. Smith looks like a worthy successor if he does go.
  7. Out of interest do they get money from the electronic advertising boards when the matches are televised.
  8. If we beat Alloa next week and assuming 3rd place is out of reach then, do you think we should give some of the younsters some game time?
  9. Last time we beat rangers we came back to ground with a bump in the next game. We can't get carried away yet.
  10. One of my worries for Sun game is the possibility of sending off. I think it will be a highly charged match that could end in some over zealous tackles. Not only would this be a disaster for the match but could have an impact on the run in. Hope Fowler stresses the importance of 11 men staying on the pitch.
  11. Well, never expected that today with our away record. Shows some good fightening spirit by the team. No idea what to expect on Thurs, unfortunately can't make it but Sun should be a cracker.
  12. Do you think Fowler will want to stay? In the circumstances i think he's done well. Don't know the inner workings of Queens so not sure why Baird was let go with no replacement. As Swarley says to early to throw the towel in (last night i might have differed), all we have to do is win more games than Falkirk, its still in our hands.
  13. I think what he said is right, they're on a pretty good run and I will imagine they will get a top 4 finish though hopefully not at our expense.
  14. Considering they've only been around for just over 2 years, then not such an achievement.
  15. Is that because its all Queens fans in both the main stand and the terracing?
  16. I was really surprised how many empty seats in the main stand, thought there was less home support than usual.
  17. Yeah, we got him injured and spent 6 months getting him fit and up to speed for you lot! Kinda of sums up Queens at the moment.
