  1. Hey all it may come as a surprise to all of you but my wife gave birth to a beautiful baby boy on Sunday night at 9.58pm after 7 years of marriage and 11 years together it has been worth the wait.

He weighed in at a very respectable 7lbs 4oz as was 3 days early. See my son brought coming into the world is possibly the most surreal and fantastic thing I have ever witness. Mum and boy are doing well and my little family should be getting home tomorrow.

I just thought I would let you all know that Jack Campbell Thomson is now in the world and is amazing.

You're meant to give us more warning than that*

    Congratulations to you both :D

    * we all knew you were hovering around for a reason ;)

  2. It's a bit like lost, with the back story of past people that have lived in the house and how it all ends for them also why they havn't crossed over to the other side. I'm not sure how many of them are already dead and who is alive and kickng!

*Spoiler* I wonder who the person is who keeps dressing up in the gimp suit? Maybe Tate? So who is the father of fingers baby?

Not technically a spoiler, eh? Thanks.

sky+ it last night. Will give it a try later.

  3. I recently accepted a request from this guy I know through work. Turns out he's a thirty videos on a Saturday night type of guy. Posting links to song after song with inane drivel like 'absolute classic, 'love this one', 'doesn't get any better'. It is all shite songs from the 70s. I really hope he is drunk while he's doing this because there is no excuse

My feed was full of that last night as well. Maybe not quite the 70s but both of them post on here

  4. CAN AMERICA SURVIVE .......

The folks who are getting the free stuff, don't like the folks who are

paying for the free stuff, because the folks who are paying for the free

stuff can no longer afford to pay for both the free stuff and their own

    stuff.

The folks who are paying for the free stuff want the free stuff to stop, and

the folks who are getting the free stuff want even more free stuff on top of

the free stuff they are already getting!

Now... The people who are forcing the people who pay for the free stuff have

told the people who are RECEIVING the free stuff, that the people who are

PAYING for the free stuff, are being mean, prejudiced, and racist.

So.. The people who are GETTING the free stuff have been convinced they need

to hate the people who are paying for the free stuff by the people who are

forcing some people to pay for their free stuff, and giving them the free

    stuff in the first place.

We have let the free stuff giving go on for so long that there are now more

people getting free stuff than paying for the free stuff.

Now understand this. All great democracies have committed financial suicide

somewhere between 200 and 250 years after being founded. The reason? The

voters figured out they could vote themselves money from the treasury by

electing people who promised to give them money from the treasury in

    exchange for electing them.

The United States officially became a Republic in 1776, 235 years ago. The

number of people now getting free stuff outnumbers the people paying for the

free stuff. We have one chance to change that. In 2012. Failure to change

that spells the end of the United States as we know it.

    ELECTION 2012 IS COMING

A Nation of Sheep Breeds a Government of Wolves!

I'M 100% for PASSING THIS ON!!!

    Let's take a stand!!!

    Obama: Gone!

    Borders: Closed!

    Language: English only

Culture: Constitution, and the Bill of Rights!

Drug Free: Mandatory Drug Screening before Welfare!

    NO freebies to: Non-Citizens!

    We the people are coming

Only 86% will send this on. Should be 100%. What will you do?

    money". -- Margaret Thatcher

Interesting love, considering you emigrated  Muppet

  5. Well if I was slagging those of whom couldn't pass a simple test first then that might give you a hint. It would be a bit pointless me slagging those if I couldn't drive. So, I can drive I passed in January at the first attempt.

I do detect a hint of jealousy from those who failed first time. 8)

Jings, I've probably been driving longer than your actual age

I'm quite happy not to have passed first time, I clearly wasn't ready.

  6. Where the fcuk can you buy normal jeans?

I went a wee nosey around the shops today for a pair of jeans, all I seen was jeans with holes built in, jeans which looked patched together and jeans that looked manky/grubby/oily. A farmer wouldn't dress his scarecrow with the shite on offer today which were classed as "jeans."

I did see a pair in Debenhams described as "Levi 501's" Fuckin rubbish, nowhere near the "501's" I remember. (certainly not worth £75)

Whit happened to regular, stonewashed and bleched jeans?

    Primark

  7. "Nurses are being scorned for being late with meds, yet they are holding their bladder because they don't have time to use the bathroom, starving because they missed lunch, being peed on, puked on, bled on, beat on & are missing their family while taking care of yours. In the minute you read this, nurses all over the world are saving lives. Re-post if you love a nurse, are a nurse, or APPRECIATE nurses!"

    :D:ph34r:

  8. It appears that you are missing something. Racist jokes are likely to feature in a sick jokes thread.

Yes, but not only racist jokes which is what you're kinda saying

So therefore someone could go into that thread and be unhappy about racist jokes/comments - do you understand?

My husband says I'm wrong so Carry On

  9. Just thought I would share that I successfully completed my Mentorship in Professional Practice module at University of West of Scotland. Go me. Not bad for someone who hasn't done any academic writing since 2004

I actually quite enjoyed it despite doing it whilst off sick (think that might have helped timewise) so I may look into doing some more modules and actually finishing off my degree
