My 1st season ticket was when we were premier league in 84/85. £15 it cost. That was a child rate. Pay at the gate was £1 for kids and £2 for adults i think. The season before in the 1st div i was paying 60p a game.
Same prices for 5 years then a big increase. I wonder what the reaction was at the time. I honestly can't remember much hoo-haa, but that might be because I don't live in the town and PnB didn't exist then!

My first ST was in 89/90 and cost £15. The following season it was £22. Almost 50% more. Boys gate both times!
Glad the club listened about the student price and changed accordingly.

Prunts told me he'll sign if a deal is offered. Mitch has loved his time but would prefer to go full time. Ian Murray swapped dug outs so he'd be closer to the linesman. Jamie Ewings thinks he's away. Christ Turner isn't as scary as he looks. Big Marko is hilarious. Can't remember anything he said, I just remember laughing a lot. Chris Kane is really shy.

I know this is a bit out of the blue but does any sons fan remember the game against Manchester Utd in 1991? It was a bit before i was born but all i can find was the goalscorers for United that day (Mark Robins x2,Mark Hughes x2 and Brian McClair) can anyone else give me more info about the line ups? Is it true that Schmeichel made his début that day?
Reason I ask is that I overhead a few guys at the game yesterday one was a regular and the other one I hadn't seen before,the regular said something about it being Schmeiches first game for them just wondered if it was true,cracking bit of trivia if it is!
Schmeichel did indeed play his first match that day. I remember being astonished at how far he could throw the ball. The game was a testimonial for Alex Wright who had held a few positions at the club for roughly twenty years.
Dougie McCracken was subbed after almost breaking Mark Hughes in two and took his frustration out on the door in the tunnel.

Age doesn't matter. If you're the best person for the job, it shouldn't matter whether you're 18, 26 or 47. Or anything in between!

If anyone had told me a month ago that we'd be in 8th place today, I would've recommended a visit to a mental health institution. After looking at the table this evening, I realised that we're actually not far off mid table and actually think we could end up staying up fairly comfortably!
