The stadium could be bulldozed, flats advertising a glorious view of the Moray Firth built in its place once years pass, Scot Gardiner showing up in hospitality at Ibrox every second Saturday alongside Billy Dodds after Clachnacuddin have been the biggest club in Inverness for a decade, and sophia would still be on here talking about how much good the two of them have done for Caley Thistle.

A good example of why the ignore settings exist which is where that troll will be residing forevermore. :)

I have to say, of all the clubs I streamed games from during The Event, ICT were by far the worst.  And I'm including clubs that had technical problems.  Terrible pixellot camera, which you stuck with, placed too high and distant, buffeted by wind noise, and no commentary either.  Way behind all the other clubs.

Yes we were horrible but if you watched a game without commentary count yourself lucky - he was dire!  Gardiner said it 'wasn't that bad' though so what do we know?  Typically the coverage got much better when we allowed back into games and then we scrapped it for some reason.

Agreed, it's a massive regression from even last season. They put all the goals up on youtube yesterday btw

The club just don't care anymore.  We went from having good highlights (including in the Covid seasons) to taking the platform down and having highlights from the back of the main stand to scrapping that too and going back to Pixellot.  Apparently two of the goals can't be shown because the camera was stuck on the halfway line.  Gardiner probably thinks it's 'not that bad' though which is all that matters...

Now his career has gone off the rails he wants to play for us? Great.

I remember listening to Owain Tudur Jones interviewing Bryan Gunn on his podcast ages ago and when the subject of his son came up he said words to the effect of "he classes himself as English and wants to play for England."  I also thought Bryan Gunn came across as a complete moron but that's another issue.

As long as we have the current board in place then its likely we will see appointments akin to the Dundee/Hearts/Rangers connections - Robbo/McCann/Dodds as proof.Fingers crossed we can avoid a 'Bomber' Brown / Barry Smith double act if change was to come. So not sure that any change would be considered a new perspective.

I've been thinking about this for a while and it's one of the reasons I wouldn't look upon the appointment of a new manager with the excitement I normally would.  It's highly unlikely that Gardiner, Roberson et al would make some sort of progressive, modern appointment.  Instead I can quite conceivably imagine waking up one morning and find that we've appointed Gary Locke, Barry Ferguson or some equally uninspiring jobber.

  6. Some of the suggestions for our next manager on CTO are frankly embarrassing.  Gary Warren, Carl Tremarco, Ross Tokely, Ryan Esson, Stuart Golabek - one poster even ponders Josh Meekings!  Do some of our fans realise that the next manager can be someone other than an ex-player?  This club badly needs a clear-out of the same old faces, not just another jobs-for-the-boys appointment.  The 'he has links with the club' adage as if that's some type of silver bullet is often one parroted by morons.

Next time the club appoints a manager it needs to be someone new, with new ideas, new contacts and hopefully a new perspective.

  7. Henderson, Mackay, Mckay and Delaney were all good.  Doran showed a few flashes of his old self and probably deserved a goal.  We look a lot more secure with Ridgers back in and Devine returning from his 'injury' *Harry Hill side-look to camera*.   Thought the number 7 for Cove looked really good until he got injured and Cove seemed to collapse after that.  Let's see how we get in when we play some proper teams in the weeks ahead before declaring that everything is rosy in the garden once more.

Queuing for hours outside a shop just to get your hands on a bottle of juice because social media tells you to

Reminds me of the scene I saw on Inverness High Street on Boxing Day.  After half eight that morning there was a homeless person asleep in a doorway and about twenty feet away a queue of about ten folk waiting to get into Lush.  Someone people are addicted to buying stuff.

I would be attending happier if that was the case and would probably lay off the Dudds criticism as that is exactly why I am still backing Gregor Townsend, Scotland play some good rugby at times and players put their heart and sole into playing for Scotland, something that a vast majority of ICT players can't say, in fact some should be EMBARRASSED by what they produce on the park!

As for the calls for a complete coaching overhaul, I am in disagreement with that. I get the calls for Dudds and Wilson to go but not Scot Kellacher or the GK coach as I can't think of anything they've done wrong 🤔.  I would even say that Barry Wilson would be harshly treated if he got sacked but understand that a new manager would want his own assistant.

I'm not really fussed about Kellacher and Esson and the former especially have worked under various managers now.  I loved Barry Wilson as a player but there's been talk about his coaching ability and relationship with the players since Jamie McCart was dropped and sold.

Even with all the injuries and our league position at the moment, if there seemed to be some drive from the players and the management, with those above showing some degree of competence then I think people would understand that.  Going to games now is becoming a chore with players who look totally uncoached and even less motivated with a heavy atmosphere being felt by (apparently almost) all.

  10. I'm just finding it all to be a total slog now.  I don't need to be in the Premiership.  I don't need a team that I expect to win every week.  I don't need the standard to be particularly high.  What we have now though is a team bereft of any oomph or even the slightest hint of entertaining football, a manager who looks increasingly incompetent, a sporting director who has way overstayed his welcome and a CEO who seems to be nothing more than a charlatan.  It's better to die on your feet than live on your knees but we're now dying on our knees and it feels like no-one even cares - including the fans.
