    For the last 2 and a half years I've had to drive the shitiest wee dinky car I've ever owned since I first passed my test and drove a clapped out old Metro. Needs must and all that at the time, had to do it as I changed jobs and took a big pay cut, but today I ordered my new car and it arrives in three months and I can't wait to see the back of the heap of junk that I swear would be better at going up a hill if it had a hole in the floor and I used my feet Fred Flintstone style.

    Can't wait.

    Quite right! You need something a bit better for driving your new arrival round in :) how's the wee one doing?

    Looking to see if anyone can help in naming any golf courses, as my mate and I are trying to organise a game for August.

    The requirements of the course are:-

    - course isn't longer than 1hr or so

    from the Glasgow area

    - price isn't much more than £30-40

    - is a course/club of decent standard, ideally not a public/council course if possible

    If you head out Bearsden/Milngavie way there are a few - eg Hilton Park, Clober, Bearsden etc. Not sure of prices but there are several in that area - might be worth trying to see if there are any offers on.
