Thank you! I'll have a wee look on the site.
You definitely should you need to register and print off a wee barcode but you only need to do that once. Are you Glasgow based?

I've never really been a runner but I've been really enjoying it over the past week or so, I can't go fast or far yet but I'll get there! Ran 3k tonight in 17 mins, hoping to manage 5k soon enough.
That's great! I would encourage you to try a Parkrun - they are 5k and you just go at your own pace (I am far from fast myself!) everyone's supportive of each other too

Putting balsamic glaze on a pizza - acceptable behaviour or in the same league as coleslaw with pizza?

Stir in some cream/milk/yoghurt (plan as not sure strawberry yoghurt would add to taste!) and that should help the heat reduce
I've got some of that gold top/jersey cow milk in the fridge, will try adding a bit. Thanks for the tip

I made some spicy butternut squash soup there, have made a balls of it and overdid the "spicy" - it's taking the mouth off me!

One I can remember from Viz from years ago was "make your own Brillo pads by putting a bar of soap inside a shredded wheat"

There must be people who actually watch QVC.
Just how depressing a thought is that.
Not guilty was going through the channels to see if there was anything on worth watching (there isn't!)

Channel hopping there and QVC was on - how can anyone get so excited selling handwash?!

Springburn Parkrun is really nice. And despite the hills, my far my fastest ever run was at Springburn.
It was my second time (first time being last week!) have you ever tried Tollcross? I found that harder due to the hills

Not been watching as much as usual but I'm guessing Kathy and Buster are heading towards an affair.

No worries think most of the highers encompass some form of assignment/coursework now.Ah, I remember hearing that changes were in the offing, but wasn't sure what they contained or whether they'd been enacted. Thanks for correcting.

There is now a politics coursework element, an assignment worth 1/3 of the overall gradeOpened this thread on the page of this post, and couldn't help noticing that nobody (as far as I could see) had suggested Higher Politics. That's your free pass to a guaranteed A. Should be considerably easier than some of the others mentioned.
For what it's worth, I'd say History is your second best bet and Modern Studies your third, but Politics is the safest - and easiest - option. The essay questions are basically repeated year upon year. No coursework beyond the NABs either, as far as I'm aware.

Or going to bed shattered to get a good 8/9 hours sleep, and your alarm going off about what seems like 3 seconds later.
For me, the annoyance is if I wake up between 5-6am (that kind of no mans land when it's too early to get up but I worry if I fall back asleep then I will not wake up in time)
