I respect Maurice for stepping down and not seeing out till end of season. He has obviously made the decision that he won’t be signing a new deal which was expected he would have had a smaller budget to work with next season and also had to take a pay cut himself. This now gives us time to bring in the right man and give him a few games and training sessions before the seasons ends.

Solid overall performance from all involved. Game should have been put to bed first half jack garrard had a handful of excellent chances. I was most impressed with dean ritchie today good on the ball but for a small lad he certainly puts himself about doesn’t shy from a tackle. Gaffer got it all wrong yesterday for me. Constant long high balls to slaven who for the height of him can’t win a header or hold the ball up. Big no.5 cb for them won everything in the air yet we still kept playing it to his side. Centre mids were poor and lazy they passed around us like we were a sunday league side. Of course after a few changes in the second half we improved and were unlucky not to come away with a point minimum. Watt has to start games slaven needs to stay far away from them.

Well that was worth the freezing cold and soaking wet wind was terrible today boys dealt with it well, a real mature performance knocked it about well. New signings outstanding walker was my motm and big dan took his goal well. No disrespect to edin uni but can see why they are where they are in the league.

Real shame the dalbeattie game being called off a few weeks, looks like we’ll be up against a completely different side than we would have now they have 4 new signings in the door and possibly more.
