We’ve definitely got interest in McMullan
You can just tell he's going to rock up at Queens Park or Dunfermline

I'd be very surprised if Liam Smith dropped down to Championship level

Twenty fucking minutes, and not a question on potential signings - wonderful.

HWG right on cue...

I thought Nick Walsh had a brilliant game and i certainly think he's head and shoulders above anyone else we've got in Scotland IMO, he's certainly way better than Collum who was seen as Scotland's best for a while

Anyway back to us...
I'm not getting carried away about any signings considering this time last year we were apparantly getting Dom Thomas and Craig Sibbald who both gave us the two fingers and went elsewhere
You're probably looking at Mutch and Stranger, two from England, 1 scottish premiership loan and then some other randomer to fill a gap, not expecting a lot tbf.
Honestly think we'll be between the 5th-8th mark next year (hopefully not any lower) and there'll probably be a running joke that goes all season between Ayr fans of "At least we'll have the best stand and hospitality in League One".
C'mon Mathie & Co and prove me wrong

You’d also think that they’ll be without Turner and Tiffoney who will be hard to replace.
Yeah can see likes of Fitzpatrick, Turner, Tiffoney and Lawless being in demand

Got we deserved. They completely bottled it.
Wouldn't have happened if McCall was still there m8

Maybe if Partick spent more time playing football and less time rolling around on the grass they could've got promoted.
They blew it on Thursday night as they should been 3/4/5-0 and out of site.
Think the inexperience of Doolan showed a bit too, after County scored the quick fire double you should really shut up shop and try see it out IMO

Highly enjoyable scenes of that wee boy in the Thistle end in tears. Very pleasing.
Nah Brian Graham was better, BIG DONKEY b*****d

Inexperienced manager in Doolan probably showed there

Good one there from Doc, some arse collapse that was from Thistle, Bullen would be proud of that

Well for the 6 game in a row thistle field the same team, everything falling for them, can’t see them losing this and watching the first 15 they are in no danger looks like Dingwall and Inverness next year a nightmare.
This aged well...

McInroy doesn't seem to be getting released by Killie in a rather bizarre move for someone who's made a whopping 11 appearances all season

It amazes me that Killie have McInroy rotting on the bench (if he even makes the bench). I'd like him back.
That's the other reason I find the great unwashed signing Docherty a bit bizarre. I would be interested to see how Docherty does in the Premier league. He's always been very tidy in possession.
If Doc was playing with Thistle in the Prem i think he'd do well but if it's for that mob up the road i fear it'll turn into another McInroy

Wonder who might become available from Partick if they do go up
Andy Millen was in the box of the Colin Weir Stand when we were up there and seen tonight he's back with Imrie this time so they've clearly got their eye on a Thistle player, Darren Brownlie perhaps? Don't think he's prem level, rest of the team on tonight's basis could probably make the step up IMO
8 minutes ago, Trogdor said:I missed that. Is Docherty going to Killie? Thats a bizarre signing all round.
Well it was rumours on here a wee while ago it was happening and my Killie supporting friend has messaged me tonight saying he has heard it's happening

I’m not really sure if what I’m about to say is 100% necessary but I just wanted to remind everyone that Partick Thistle beat Ayr United 8-0 on aggregate in the last round of the playoffs.
8-0
With the amount of chances Thistle have had tonight this one could have been 8-0 by the end of the first leg

Lee Bullen will be proud of that full back defending for Thistle's first goal tonight
2 -
Bet Doc is wishing he hadn't jumped the gun on signing a pre-contract with Killie obviously thinking Thistle wouldn't be in the Prem lol

Makes our full back defending last week not look quite so bad lol

Partick may have made the final but at least we've got the sun still shining tonight.

This is probably going to be painful viewing tonight i'd imagine
