  1. McCall downbeat because he knows we've just blown the chance of more players coming through the door and he'll be more than aware that current squad doesn't have enough depth for the championship nor good enough attacking options. Don't want to start this debate again but was moronic of the board to budget for progressing in the league cup beyond the group stage, that's the most diffucult group we've ever had. McCall will probably now be saying told you so to the board for the fact they shouldn't have put so much expectations on the league cup. Think there might be enough money still for McCall to scrape one player, would hope a striker, unless he does a begging call to Cameron if someone has really caught his eye. For the start of the season time will tell but the current squad has similarities to the last squad that got relegated from the championship wiht regards to lack of firepower upfront and Forrest being involved up top. However this squad is a lot better than that team so we should be safe (i hope), i think it'll be a struggle though and not pretty. Predict 7/8th.
  2. Take it Geggan is injured already, if Ferguson is his replacement we're fucked.
  3. Oh dear well that's one way to potentially f**k up our season, transfer business probably finished now. What was the game like, wasn't there (thankfully)
  4. Does the North and the south section go out of the equation after the group stage I take it?
  5. https://repeattherecord.wixsite.com/news/post/ayr-united-fans-still-to-decide-whether-to-go-back-to-supporting-their-big-team States of that shite, who actually writes nonsense articles like that
  6. Aaron Muirhead btw is deffo one of those c***s on a night out going about at 2 in the morning looking for folk to scrap with haha.
  7. I think the couple of the main issues we have with this ticket system is that for one there's quite a large band of older supporters who probably aren't tech savvy to buy before going to the match. Also we lack the infrastructure to sell the tickets from somewhere big enough, the shop and admin office next door simply aren't big enough. Could the club not have a couple of pop up tickets kiosks on that gravel bit at the corner across from the SRE terraces where the Somerset boab donation thing used to sit. Just a suggestion.
  8. Wasn't there so what was the game like? Tickets a fiasco I take it as I see kick off was delayed. Good position to finish second but looking at other tables we might still need to put a few past Stranraer and they won't make it easy for us.
  9. Yeah SRE currently having a meltdown over tickets for tomorrow, kinda glad i'm missing this one as it's likely to descend into a farce with hardly anyone in before the game. especially with a big away support also probably going to the shop before the game to get a ticket.
  10. Might still end up with this welsh mob in the tunnocks caramel wafer cup, funny if pumped them.
  11. Fucking comedy gold HAHAHA, probably even more embarrassing than us losing talbot considering that tonight was on the big European spectacle. Big European trip that couldn't even get out of fucking Britain, love it. Never know might be in the championship with us this time next year.
  12. This thread should be changed to the ultimate online ticketing fiasco
  13. I'm surprised to see the away turnstiles are cashless aswell, thought it would have made more sense for them to remain cash turnstiles. Can't imagine many Falkirk fans for Saturday buying before they turn up
  14. Agreed it was a straight red however Collum seem to be taking a very relaxed approach. Couple of cynical fouls in the midfield by both teams which could have been bookings that he let go, seemed to be reffing it more like a pre season.
  15. See the club are looking for turnstile operators which I was a bit confused by considering we've just gone cashless
  16. However Rudden is good at holding the ball up which after seeing Doolan last night i get the feeling he isn't so good at. We need someone to replace Shanklands ability to hold the ball up.
  17. Not sure, get a feeling it's not until end of August/September which I think is one of the problems for someone signing him.
  18. See Zak Rudden was at the game last night, not sure if he was scouting out both teams who are potentially after him on loan or if he was there to watch the boy Kelly.
  19. Tbh if it had been stated that there would only be two women and as a result would be huge queues then more people might have bought at the club shop. For a premiership club it's a pretty mickey mouse setup.
  20. Robbie Crawford doesn't look to have improved in the slightest, still running into trouble and sliding on his arse. From our point of view we showed the good and the ugly of our team. First half was terrible and we got bossed about the place then in the second half we turned into silky fc, that Docherty swivel though [emoji7]. The boy Kelly also looks a player along with Forrest looking like a new signing. Looked shaky at the back with the new boy Roscoe who looked poor and still some question marks about Ferguson. Need to win on Saturday against Falkirk but think that'll be tough.
  21. Can you buy tickets up at Livingston before the game tomorrow because I see we're selling them in the club shop which is a bit weird
  22. Safe to say if this group comes down to goal difference then we should be in a pretty good place. Safe to say Tuesday night will give us a more realistic picture of how good the team is
  23. All of a sudden within the space of a week we're pretty much ready to rock n roll #COYHM
