St Mirren have done an end of season remembrance for fans that have passed in the previous 12 months with their names being read out and displayed in the big screen, that should be the best time for this kind of thing.
I would say this or something like this is the correct answer.

You mean that we can't even fill the one stand?
If we didn't there would be erse cheek fans in there too though, so the club is at least trying to segregate us from having them in beside us.
I't's an easy target for opposition fans slagging us over our small support, but the only ones actually taking the slagging are the ones that go support their team, and are no less of a fan than a bigger supported club. On that score it's more a shame that more of the local community don't get behind their team, i've supported Livi for about 27 years though, and past the stage where it bothers/annoys me. We had around 3 or 4 thousand fans our first stint in the top flight, and after admins and a lot of turmoil with demotions etc, it got as low as 600 and odd, been a bumpy ride supporting Livi.
No, it wasn’t having a go at the size of the support.
But the fact that for those fixtures you have to actively deny anyone who doesn’t have a season ticket from going to the game is counter productive to sustainably growing your support.
A big result against one of them may mean a few more people might ‘catch the bug’ for going more regularly or getting a season ticket, but they’re not allowed to go because of a risk that the end gets filled up with mutants.

First point is annoying from a fans perspective seeing our stadium sold out to away fans, but business wise makes complete sense, when 80% isn't being used, would be cutting off our nose to spite our face having empty seats when there's the opportunity to fill them. The home end is ST holders only allowed to buy tickets, to try and stop them getting in there too, since our fans complained about Sevco fans sitting in the home end and causing trouble.
Just a pity all the money we're making off playing the cheeks in cup games and home league games is going to waste with all the in fighting over control of the club, and not being used in January to keep us up. Wont have to put up with them next season though, we'll be back to our big empty stadium.
Surely it’s a bit of a riddy in itself that you have to make the home end ST holders only?

I don't
That's why I get sucked in by the interfering rumours.
I put a higher bar on believing stuff like that, because if it were true then I’d move immediately to get cormack out of the club. Thats ludicrous over reach from a chairman.

Allegedly it's what DC wants and why managers are losing the plot...
Find it hard to believe cormack is that mental tbh.

I’m not sure that argument holds up that well considering the vast majority of Rangers fans that engage in certain songs likely don’t go to church or practice religion either.
Well no. It was simply a statement that the song in question really can’t be considered sectarian in the same regard as a song like The Billy Boys. There needs to be some offence directed in the lyrics for it to be offensive surely?
Comfort blanket

No, all I said was that it’s not a sectarian song.
Hibs fans unfurling a tricolour with the Pope on it yesterday probably feeds the issue just as much as that song does, but I wouldn’t claim that it was sectarian either.
Right so you agree that whether or not there is overt sectarianism in the songs is pretty irrelevant.

Good to see Duk looking lively when he came on. Dante also an improvement. Second goal was a decent footballing move.
2nd goal is an example of what we’ve missed so much of from Duk this season (partly his form and partly the lack of any creative width in the squad).
Don’t think anyone else picks the ball up with back to goal and rolls the defender so we’re actually in behind a defence.

Well, it isn’t. I was responding to a specific point made about that song. I never just randomly came out with it to excuse any other songs that may be.
No but the implication is that songs fine because it doesn’t have the legally defined nasty words in it. The song about Northern Ireland and fighting the IRA is totally separate to the sectarianism that is embedded in the club.

‘Build my gallows isn’t sectarian’ is a nice wee comfort blanket for the enablers.

I didn’t get any reply to either of my emails. Perhaps I used the wrong tone or sent it to the wrong emails.
Did you use the phrase ‘you stupid c***s?’
If not, then that’s your first error imo.

Fucking how long have you got?

AFC tried to phone me the other day. I missed the call as I was at work but the voicemail said my email had been passed up the chain to get the responses I was looking for and they would come back next week.

I get where velo army is coming from. I always feel a little uncomfortable with them, purely because any applause feels a bit insincere. If it gives the grieving family some comfort I suppose it’s harmless, but they’re not really for me.

Gartenman just isn’t very good. Plenty if endeavour but unfortunately his lack of size/physical presence means that he needs to compensate by being an intelligent defender and/or good on the ball, of which he is neither really.

Technically still possible to finish top 6 unless I've miscalculated horribly. Not in our hands, as would rely on a number of results going in our favour.
Yes, mathematically it is still possible. In reality, no.
Does feel better having a bit of a gap over two teams and sucking Motherwell in.
I did think we were shit for the most part today though so can’t rest on any laurels yet.

Can also put me down for feeling absolutely nothing, good or bad, towards wales or the Welsh.
Hal robson kanu’s turn and goal against Belgium though was a really iconic moment though.

I would like to believe we’re very far down the line in getting closer to being in a position to move things forward on a timeline that is in line with the medium- and long-term strategic goals of the club.
I like the sound of this. I trust you.

A bit like betting against your own team. If it comes off you look like a right clever b*st*rd, but if Aberdeen win you won’t care, because, well, Aberdeen won.
Yeah, but only if you don’t say it out loud. Which you just did. Well done on relegating us for the first time in our history.

I remember my first meeting with my dissertation advisor:
‘the key is to make it about something that really interests you’
’well, I…’
’no, not football. Do not make it about football’
