National broadcaster and journalist, tho the P and B masses do seem to prefer Philco.
National tabloid yeller who's very existence is to wind people up and attract interest through having controversial opinions.
Yet you know that already I think.

That's where you're wrong, I had to work at the pinnacle of local government for 2 years to get my business and administration qualification, you wouldn't even get in the door before you try to make out like you know everything
What qualifications do you have??
I have standard grade 1 scores for business management, physics, chemistry, P.E. and more
I study business management at Uni for a bachelors degree.
Tl;dr before you talk pis about qualifications make sure that you have some
Yeah I half believed you were for real until that. Shame really, if you were real it would have been funnier

-You're the melter mate you melted your brain a long time ago when you became obsessed with Rangers
What are you qualified as if you want to try and laugh at being qualified to work in an office, amongst many other qualifications, mr know it all Njord thinks he knows best again like usual when he doesn't even know what he's talking about lol
Do you have 'qualified to work in an office' on your cv?

I posted this a couple of days back...
While there is no evidence to suggest this is real or fake, I find it hard to believe that having been essentially threatened by HMRC that they have evidence of deceit on Rangers part that the tax manager would be sending out a letter.
Seems to me to be the job of a director/legal counsel.

A judge who happens to be an expert in football law examined the rules and Rangers conduct and found that Rangers were guilty of administration errors, he also declared that the players were properly registered, he issued an appropriate punishment, he also confirmed that the tax ruling had nothing to do with the tribunal.
The SPL themselves ruled out any further action.
In some ways I actually enjoy that there are some that will never accept this.
Are BDO not appealing the big tax case on the notion that a judge may not always be right?
And the SPL well...come on now

1. "To be fully honest" and "Rangers board" is a classic oxymoron, given that their chairman is a proven glib and shameless liar.
2. How are the Rangers board qualified to make that pronouncement? They're not even involved, it's a matter between the SPFL and the OldCO.

I like this part.
'On 22nd May 2005, Rangers defeated Hibs at Easter Road to win the SPL by a solitary point with Nacho Novo scoring the only goal of the game.'
What he fails to acknowledge however, is the fact that they could not defend against wee Scotty Macdonald for 2 minutes, will they ever get over it?
Bear in mind I despise Celtic in my response to that.
To point out Celtics failings in that season is a mere distraction from the actual debate. It is a wider debate around Rangers actions at that time.
The whole 'sporting advantage' debate is a red herring for me anyway, in sport you can forever talk about the ifs buts and maybes and how much of a direct impact having De Boer or whoever in the team may have had.
For me it's simple, was a form of deception and contravention of rules used to sign football players to compete for a league title. If so, there is a huge argument to say that title is void.
There are many real life examples of teams being disqualified from competitions for administrative errors on a hugely smaller scale than this.

I stopped reading at the end of the first paragraph.
Anyone who tries to be serious yet says, "Most significantly, the campaign to have the farcical Nimmo Smith Commission findings set aside must be put on ice." is clearly marching to a different beat to we sane people.
Actually I am not a huge advocate for title stripping, I'd rather see scottish football improved going forward. I am also trying to take an objective approach to the whole thing.
Reading the linked piece it makes a very strong argument for title stripping it has to be said. I do appreciate that there is clearly a certain bias to the writing so it's hardly concrete evidence especially given not all of the facts can be verified. For example, I have never seen evidence that Rangers openly lied to HMRC during the EBT period so therefore I appreciate that may not be true.
However, taken as read it is a pretty compelling argument. I would happily read a piece with as strong an argument to the contrary.

Great piece and puts forward a very strong argument.
The final paragraphs echo my dismay at the fact we're coming out of this saga full speed ahead back to square one. A really depressing moment in Scottish football history.

Are you bitter that rangers pay a fair wage to the normal people such as cleaners and old women etc. working for their families who aren't rich, and your smelly club don't? Haha
Are you a living wage expert now who knows when it should be paid and when it shouldn't? Go and get a life you're glib and shameless

So in all of the one side screaming mike will send them to the wall and the other side screaming they will return as the greatest club ever, the reality is somewhere in between.
Shocker.

Tricky one to respond to as I never joined the 'move to England' bandwagon as I see us as a Scottish club and the notion is absurd.
Would the English authorities have handled matters differently? On the whole, probably not as I think Scotland's authorities have acquitted themselves fairly and reasonably. The issues I have are in three areas, with two of them minor:
The 'put us in Div 1 or Armageddon' was an error and embarrassing for them and for us.
The SPFL's silence recently is to their shame. They should tell The Title Stripping Tossers to go away and grow up rather than say nothing.
The Five Way Agreement was tawdry and cowardly and is really to the authorities' demerit.
So you may think we won a watch by staying in Scotland but I don't think it was ever on the agenda and I doubt there would've been much difference in how we were treated.
That is a very reasonable post.

Roon ye!!
Celebrating the fact you DON'T have to pay the legal fees of the individual who absolutely rinsed you. Proud day for you

We need Rangers in the SPL to stop the suffering...
Whilst I agree with the sentiment I think you might be telling porkies if that's meant to be representative of Celtic's attendances...

For me it's a tough one, I'm with WMM on this, it's an uneasy feeling when a sporting authority is called into question by a billionaire shareholder.
That said, the footballing authorities in Scotland are a complete disgrace and full of self-serving areseholes, and deserve to be called to account.
I think the SFA / SPFL members( club representatives) should have cried foul on this at the time and asked for justification on that decision- it's pretty apparent to me that King is neither fit or proper.
The idea that a sporting body is dragged through the legal system is just wrong, however, all this could have been avoided if, said body, wasn't so corrupt in the first place and had given King the middle digit originally. His application to be passed fit & proper should have been laughed at and thrown in the bin.
I sort of agree but who exactly do the SFA answer to then? Where was the process scrutinised? Anywhere?
0 -
I'm sure this will be ignored and the Rangers fans on here will still claim the SFA are against them

I, for one, feel privileged to be a non-OF firm fan and be able to appreciate and laugh at the irony as they go back and forth arguing over which set of fans is more racist than the other

That "protest" is absolutely embarrassing by the way, whatever your views on that whole situation.

Wee puff piece in the paper today urging King to spend some dough to make sure Rangers win the league.
It pretty much looks like it belongs in a Rangers fanzine it's that biased.
Actually shocked reading it from a national newspaper who is meant to remain impartial.
Not Rangers' fans fault in any way what appears in the papers but I do find it makes me angry reading this crap and hating Rangers more with every word
Holy shit. I just read that. Unbelievable stuff.

When does the annual report actually get released?

A profitable year for the dons recording a record turnover.
Ahhh when will Armageddon end?
0 -
How's it going lads? Just a wee catch up, any decision on how many titles we've lost yet or is it still in the post!?
were you expecting to have happened by now?
