Theo Bair scoring against us on Sunday after MacPherson gives away a slack pass to a massively out of position and otherwise anonymous Nicky Clark feels like the perfect ending to this post double period, almost a shame we can’t just let Partick/Raith up.

Honestly still can’t get my head around the lack of drive and determination from those players. Even if they know they’re away and they don’t have any particular affinity with the club, surely they have some professional pride.
far too many of them were just totally off it again tonight. The only passion in the first half was from Carey but it was channelled into raging at Drey and Gordon and not in to actually trying to do anything useful.
Ref was baffling either not giving a single thing or giving slight knock. And that ending, what the hell actually happened there? Looked like he did the var symbol after he blew up for full time, but the single peep that made everyone other than Carey stop was fucking mental. Took all the atmosphere out of the crowd.

not Cammy MacPherson jogging around as a midfielder waltzes past him on the edge of the box and scores. Surely not
Hey he also gave the ball away for their best chance to make it 2-0. Playing all the hits.

It might be true, but its hard to take it at face value when its coming from Stewart, tbh.
I almost posted exactly this. Such a clear personal grudge that can’t take anything he says about Levein seriously.

The Mallard in Perth is a fine substitute.
As the crow flies probably the closest pub to McDiarmid that’s actually a pub. (Glovers is a pub themed restaurant)

I see Eskisehirspor are currently in the 5th tier of Turkish football now.
So in the ~12 years since we met in Europe they've been relegated 4 times, had 13+ managers, and not been allowed to sign anyone for 3-4 years due to their debts forcing a transfer embargo.
Their fans also burned their stadium to the ground.
Honestly it's nice to keep the "partnership" going simply to remind us how much worse things could get.
Was there ever anything formal other than Boards hosting each other, and us having a black and red away kit, with Eskispor?

I’m quite content with Rooneys final moment in a saints shirt being the end of the play off final, perfect way to sign off.
I was just thinking this too. I’d rather he didn’t re-sign, rather have the excellent memories.

It’s definitely not an express train it’s more like the last train home from Edinburgh. Every now and then you think your finally free and another made up Fife town appears.

Not seen a thread yet for it?
Honestly the level of enthusiasm within our support, and the level of excitement playing us elicits in opposition fans, I’d not be surprised if we end up with a match thread being started after a match at some point this season.

Tell ya what, even speaking as a non Dundee fan, I really hope this gets built for a couple of reasons. 1) new stadiums are cool. 2) I’ll never need to see someone comment on a courier article that thinks it’s getting built on the park ever again.

Build it on Moncrieffe island, away end only accessible by boat, similar to Venezia (or possibly a.n.other Venice team). Reopen Princes’ street station, add in a couple of pedestrian bridges that link with S.Inch for Bus/Train Station in town and the planned Walnut Grove P&R.

One thing that will potentially be interesting is what is actually sold. Would you buy a football club without the 20-odd acre footprint it sits in? Who owns the site, Geoff Brown or the football club?
I find it quite interesting that the size of land keeps getting used as a negative in the Courier. there was an interview years ago with SBrown where he complained about having to clear the whole site when it was snowy/icy, but I’d have thought generally it’s a boon. However, I suspect there is scope that the rumoured Oudenarde ground and the spinning the land as a negative are gonna result in the browns swapping the McDairmid land for land at Oudenarde, and getting the new owners to build the bridge(s) that Geoff has refused to build at Oudenarde, which has stopped the village getting built.

He was absolutely shite for us, lets not start rewriting history.
Things would maybe have turned out differently but he'd been playing regularly for Motherwell until Christmas this year and only scored twice.
Fair fucks for the form since, but aye, it wasnt a bad decision to let him go.
It’s not rewriting history when pretty much everyone could see how poorly he was being managed.
Just further evidence to how fucking awful the previous management teams were.

That banto page just needs a clear out tbh.
Even allowing for all the bizarre takes, the thing I find weirdest is the people who post The Club’s Facebook posts without comment as though people might’ve missed them.

Still find it a bit sad Dundee fans have to go back 50+ years for something to gloat about.
Mate, you know every single saints fan will still have a reference to the double on whatever the 2071 equivalent of twitter is!

There was a discussion about developing youth players on Sunday's show
Not once were the B teams in the Lowland League mentioned. This does not surprise me given your average Scottish football commentator's ignorance of anything outside the Cheeks but it led me to wonder wtf are the two B teams doing stinking out the LL if it's not for youth development

Maybe being overly pessimistic, but “not worse” doesn’t feel like what we needed from this window…

Is there a book on how many micro seconds it takes them to mention Michelle Mone’s frozen assets on todays show?
the fact it’s also an Off the Ball derby day you can practically hear their stiffies.

It’s maybe a me problem, but I absolutely hate the fact they’ve started up loading the team lines in numerical order.

Aye that really pissed me off. @Kyleengaged with it a bit more than I did. But it’s the same total loser attitude Steve Brown showed throughout his stewardship.
