He was a c**t as a player. And he must of been a nightmare to play against (WHEN HE WAS AT HIS PRIME) big physical aggressive player. If he can pass some of that evilness and streetwise to our younger player, who have no thugery at all then i think that straight away is a benefit. Thugery is good in small patches as it makes you horrible play against which teams have'nt experienced when playing a killie team in recent season.

Put his in the other thread aswell Jig meant to be a done deal. If you told me this 3weeks ago when our only signings were robinson and mcdonald, i would of be fuming, raging. But now with alot of good signings and added optimsm to the club, i see this in a postive frame of mind. Now we have signed findley I see Jig being 4th choice at best behind ashcroft, connely and findley. He would be effect for coming on to protect leads and to throw up front for last 5minutes of a game, so as a player pretty usless. But lets not judge him on that, thats not what he's coming here for. He's here to coach, and nobody knows what he'll be like in this role. He is international experienced and played in top leagues across Britain, played under excellent managers so he should have good ideas, good contacts and good experience. Theres nothing to say he'd be a shit coach, so lets give the guy a chance. Lets see what he does, and pray he is only used as a back up, back up, emergency player.

Was thinking boyd scored 21 goals in a very poor killie side, with johnston and mckensie providing the service to him. Now we have a much better side with better players providing the services, players like Higgy, Tope, Carick, Maggenis and even Smith at full back. What are the chances of boyd scoring more this time round??

Was fantastic at us few years back, was a 15 goal a season striker, we got the last really quality out him i think. That being said could do a fair job in the championship, wish him well as he is a cup winning legend. The HEFF

Apparently Johnstone from us is coming on loan to you's. I'd be more than happy with that. He's had 1 good season, and that was only good because he was electric from 3months then dreadful for the rest of the season. Theres defo a player in there. Most fustrating player at our club. Confidence affects him massively. Hopefully he goes to you's and get game time and gets back to his best, cause its evident what he can do. If this deal does happen it will be his last chance to prove that he has an SPL future.

No necessary a bad thing, means theres plenty of competition between them, no one can just expect to start week in week out.

We knocked £50 of our tickets, i think it was then £270, which is still touching the expensive side, although being cheapest in the SPL, thats the number 1 problem in scottish football its to expensive and it's driving fans aways. Clubs need to be imagintive in ways to get the fans back.Killie have done so this year, with the adult free kids ticket, also the 2adults 2kids family deal. However there is still more which can be done... This is why i believe the club should run say a 10 game a season ticket. Say you pay £80 and that gets you 10 games of your choice across the whole season. All SPL clubs should also have an unemployed ticket, for people who aren't working bur are priced out of going to games. No saying you are mate. And finally teams should come together and sell and away season ticket, you buy tickets for every away game at the start of the season for say £130 and then that money is spilt up between the teams, this means the club get alot of cash in the close season, which means they can sign players earlier and avoid loosing them to other teams with more money. Went a bit off topic there but thats what i feel needa to happen in scotland or the game will die away.

Club have passed 2500 season tickets and are approaching 3000. See what happens with a few postive signings. Hopefully 1/2 more to come. We should try to target 4000 by the dundee game and that would be a great increase from last season. Is there anyone on here who A-didn't get one last year and did so this Or B- is getting one but yet has still not done so. Peter Leven- ex killie. Is being branded about for assisants job, could make sence as he played with Locke as us. This potenually could be good, he's a uefa A license holder, and is currently a middlesbourgh youth coach so has experience at a jod level all be it youth football. Could work for both parties, we get a young coach and he gets a job with first team and the money he will earn want change much. Tbh anything sounds good just now after mcculoch or BB

Heard this also, would imagine its shite. But atleast if it is true the board are thinking about what would appease the fans. Thinking out the box a bit, Gary Hay would my number 1 choice. But he has some comfy wages job with the SFA so would be unlikely.
