Moved to a new flat on Monday. The previous tenant evidently wasn't familiar with the concept of cleaning, so its taken three long evenings to actually get it into a condition I like it. Fifteen floors with a wee breeze and a wee balcony. I get to pretend Im a pirate on the high seas, so it isnt all bad!

I could be wrong, but did we not go with that during the first Errea(?) season? It was after the Xara deal seemed to go wrong I think, but I forget the year. I don't recall being a fan. I personally prefer the kits with more white on them.

Oh, I saw some of those when I was in Scotland last, I thought it was just a packaging change. Ive been genuinely looking forward to a Lidl lasagne, I live in a Lidl free country.

When Im flying to and from Scotland, I always fly from Edinburgh. I liked the previous security set up better, but I think its a good size. Big enough to have lots of flight options, but small enough so there arent mental queues and you dont have to walk for five years to get anywhere (Charles de Gaulle, Im fucking looking at you here). Over the years I've slipped into a nice routine of flying from Edinburgh with KLM, connecting at Schipol (a well designed airport), and then on to my final destination. Its handy for the tram as well. I'm not sure what people have against it tbh!

I dunno, Ive been on the Aberdeen to Arbroath train in the distant past. It sounds pretty plausible to me. I'd even say it sounds familiar. I dont know why, but this made me laugh out loud!

I've just packed all my stuff for a several day long work trip tomorrow. Everything uber organised, everything accounted for, squeezed into a tiny bag, work stuff packed in, ready to use when i get to my destination. I even shaved so i can pack my razor. My usual packing efficiency. Just glanced at my phone. Then looked at the date more closely. Turns out im not actually going anywhere till Tuesday. I guess Ill just unpack my bag again so I can go to work as normal tomorrow. Fail.

See everything said on airports so far, all of these. By the time I arrive at security, Ive got my laptop out, belt off, metal out of pockets, loose stuff in bag, coat aff. I have ample time to do this, as I am invariably waiting behind 20 people who are stunned by the concept of airport security. When i get to the front, its laptop and stuff in tray, bag on the belt, quick pat down to check, and through. 30 seconds. See how quickly this could be done? Why can't everyone else do this?
