  1. I said the exact regarding Slattery/ Law comparison. I don’t remember us having a player on the ball as good as that in a long while, possibly with the exception of Alex Gorrin but he was only here for a few months. Slattery his weight of pass is second to none, actually beats a man just with his touch it’s excellent to watch. Also with the link to Robbie Gotts I’d definitely take that as a signing on loan or permanent. Decent pedigree and was on the cusp of making it at Leeds but I’m sure he had something with gambling and he was out the game for a few months. Seems to be able to play in a variety of positions mainly midfield and on the right hand side so brings in plenty of cover in case of injuries to SoD etc.
  2. Not every season ticket holder will be able to make it either so very good chance whoever wants one will get one. Be good to Fir Park “sold out” as such for a long while.
  3. The thing is I don’t think Robinson would even look to target players such as Slattery and look into those potential availabilities of them. He’d much rather as also before said bring in 2 and hope they come well than one kind of quality signing. And I know nobody is a guarantee to hit the ground running or be a nailed on huge influence but it does seem to be much more positive this year.
  4. Also forgetting Shields so we have plenty options in those areas. If anything we required an out an out winger like Jordan Roberts. When the Finnish guy signs for me next priority is another midfielder.
  5. I’d take McNulty but would kinda overload us up front. Having said that with the big handsome Finish guy next. After they 2 (if McNulty is true) id say we still possibly need a left sided defender and another quality midfielder then that would be us. Still plenty of time left in the window so I suspect if we had to bring in another defender and midfielder it would most likely be later in the window on loans etc.
  6. Someone on SO mentioned Lewis MacLeod is still available, local lad, sort of player that we’d definitely be looking at. Don’t know if there was anything in it but a midfield of him and Slattery would be exciting with Donnelly or Maguire sitting.
  7. Aye 110% possibly 1 or 2 if it’s an option and nobody closing down to catch the opponent off guard. If we want to try a corner tactic like Bournemouth for example with Eddie Howe fair enough. But ours isn’t a tactic it’s just pure daft ness especially doing it for every corner.
  8. Well tbf to Mr Alexander that is a “brilliant” signing also paid an undisclosed fee which is really good to see we are putting some backing behind the manager now to get this right this season.
  9. When I seen the news the other day I was still in absolute shock for me he could easily be a top Championship keeper, he was a regular for QPR for a while. Future Scotland No.1 here.
  10. It was the 4 I said have been in from the start of the week and Woolery was the 5th but he signed later that day. The player from Luton could be the Londoner that could be joining on loan until January. The other trialist ex West Ham and Liverpool etc. Is someone called Mi’chel Parker.
  11. I thought would’ve been today to be honest. Boy from down London apparently on loan until January.
  12. A Chinese team actually offered a couple million for him which was accepted on deadline day I’m sure but he knocked it back... Just read it was a 4 million reported but was no official bid.
  13. Woolery is one of the ones I mentioned on trial along with ex Spurs youngster Shayon Harrison. Malta international is Joe Muscatt.
  14. Currently on trial we have 2 strikers (not out and out goalscorers), Malta midfield internationalist, Keeper and a younster from Leicester.
  15. Did he mention one specific name of the page or 2 where multiple names were being rhymed off?
  16. Just say both the names? It’s a fans forum where most things on here dont go further than on here or Twitter.
  17. Who’s the mystery trialist then somebody get upto Dalziel Park...
  18. That’s correct he’s the Joma manager for Scotland I’m sure. He’s also local grew up in Cleland, I’m sure I seen him on Twitter mention he thinks we are great run club and intends on getting himself and his son who he hopes will be a ‘Well fan season tickets this year after our tweet about free season tickets etc. However I think it’s pretty unlikely we’d change this late to joma after Burrows saying we are staying with Macron. Maybe something that could come to fruition in the future.
  19. A rumour? 3 potential players we are looking at were in for talks last Friday. Could be 3 players for the one position or 3 different you never know, none of them could sign or they all do. But it seems as though we are being very active early. Hence when I said we could expect one in this week that was personal opinion.
  20. Seems to be a common denominator this season with many players (and their mrs) can’t take some criticism on social media. If they can’t take it don’t be on it or don’t reply simple as. Obviously not being at the games this season has hampered the relationship between players and fans but you can really see the disconnect just from social media. If they went out and gave it their all 110% then 99% of Motherwell fans wouldn’t complain but it’s the can’t be bothered attitude and folk clearly knowing they won’t be here much longer. Some of these guys need to have a look at themselves and realise they wouldn’t have a place at our club this season if it wasn’t for the paying fans, it’s even worse this season when people are paying every week sometimes twice a week to watch a terrible stream. The worst professional of them all this season has been the club captain. The best has probably been Tony Watt a guy who’s had attitude problems before and been about clubs really does have his head screwed on and gets on with his life even on social media.
  21. Did GA give Devante Cole a paneer? Guys on fire hope he realises playing at his best is here and we sign him up quickly. Saw him as a real coup when we got him last season glad he’s showing how good he is, definitely a number 9. Chris Long looks a new man again and back to his best, if he wanted to be here with GA coming in I always said I’d give him a second chance as I loved him last season, but the la has certainly got it going on again.
  22. Said it last week he was supposed to be away but not a clue why he’s not offski but clearly not in the plans.
