  1. Pathetic that game was allowed to go ahead. Also don't think it was an actual storm and trains being cancelled.
  2. You might be there, just no game going ahead if it's decided when the ref arrives
  3. They do, but they were AWOL on Saturday. Don't hold out much hope they'll be there tonight!
  4. Hope your "relationship" with Burnley is more successful than the one they had with us , ours ammounted to a friendly v their under 23s at Somerset and a kit that was kinda Burnely-esque. Big talk of it going to be fruitful before it was quietly shelved about a year later
  5. We've updated you on the fact the Hub is open and selling soup and hot dogs. What more do you want? In all seriousness though it's a farce
  6. Arbroath having injuries and players that are working today makes not one bit of difference when the weather is like this. Makes the game a lottery. Pretty sure in that game last season one of the Arbroath goals seemed to get sucked in from a corner or a throw in
  7. You'd hope so. I don't like to see any team/fans make a wasted journey. Plus selfishly I'd rather stay cosy in the house watching a TV game than be at Somerset tonight freezing my baws off through "loyalty" (stupidity)
  8. Wouldn't even need a ref! Anyone with a brain cell I mean the met office and ScotRail issued warnings on Sunday/yesterday about tonight being stinking weather
  9. We played Arbroath last season in farcical conditions. Cancelled a Fri night game v ICT literally as the turnstiles were opening. Seems storm and travel warnings are just blocked out when it comes to getting games on
  10. I know. Storm warnings and trains being off after 7, and this game still being on we've just posted about the Hub being open and what food is on offer. Looks like a late call off if it's called off at all. Sorry to your team and fans for a potentially wasted journey
  11. It will be a shambles if it goes ahead, and a shambles if it's a late call off.
  12. I have a fear that it will go ahead, or it will be a late call off when the ref gets here. Pretty poor show when Arbroath will have to leave about 3pm that we're leaving it so long to update fans
  13. The game will be on and you'll like it * * If farcical weather conditions are your thing
  14. Brown must like the basket case clubs, Fleetwood, Forest Green ....us
  15. Still baffles me that whole situation. Everyone picking about 2 or 3 of their players we wanted on loan
  16. Fully expecting a 24 page pullout in this week's Ayrshire Post. Pics of Bullen at Christmas dinners, old folks homes, school's
  17. Skimmed a look at the papers when I was out there. Bullen mourning still happening. This time by the bold Bill Leckie
  18. No sign of it! Saw posts about McAnespie being in the hub before the game etc etc. Doubt I'll travel up for it in this weather. Knowing my luck I'd just get there and the ref will call it off
  19. I honestly thought that was a dick at first glance in the pic and wondered where you were going with it
  20. Both are scum. Scottish teams believing in shite like the IRA or the UVF
  21. Farcical how that was even allowed to kick off. I remember whatever GK was at the SRE trying to kick the ball and it basically failing to go anywhere near the half way line. The pen attempts were funny at first then it just made a mockery of the refs decision to play the game. You'd hope the latest they'd cancel it would be about 3 to stop Arbroath having to leave on a wasted journey but after that ICT fri night farce I wouldn't hold my breath
  22. Can't believe the club are posting about tickets for tomorrow nights game. Does nobody check the weather forecast? Also can't decide if Bullen commentating on the post about Sean McGinty is incredibly classy, or almost at the clingy ex stage that needs threatened with a restraining order
  23. Thank fck it isnt a televised game or that's what the commentators would mention a dozen times
