I miss the days we used to play for 80 mins. We're good for half that now.

Looks like we're building a squad that, when they're fit and when it all clicks, will be excellent to watch at times. Can't wait for those 30 mins this season.

Well the good news is that you'll get to see Niall Keown instead on Saturday and that'll make everyone feel better.

I don't particularly get either side of the argument to a great degree. Sure, we play him too much he might sort of burn out a bit, but when he does play he gets kicked about and people are complaining at that too. Do we play him, but only in the first team, and only against teams made to promise they won't try to kick him? We've got some amount of central (not particularly attacking) midfielders at the moment. Slater, Penrice, Ntambwe, Bannigan, McCarthy, Gordon. Would be nice if more than 2 of them could be fit at once, though.

Brice, Bannigan and Quitongo all got an hour and are apparently still alive. Let's not discuss the fact that it's now 4-1.

I was really pinning my hopes on a run in the reserve league this season too.
