  1. Gulli-billies at it again. Nothing to see here. Lol. Big Mike's going to make the new clubs business dealings as difficult as he can for as long as TRFC board keep bailling out the Lieing King. What happened to the banter years thread? Was always a good read.
  2. I could live with your top target being just a squad player, if he isn't good enough I'm sure mcinnes will loan him out to you guys next season once you guys have another manager in throwing toys out the pram. Fancy Stephen gleeson and stevie may as compensation? Both could do with a club with less pressure. I heard Edinburgh has a nice castle and some juggling acts and museums. You guys might be able to entice them down for some milk tokens and some good skag. They'd need the skag to believe their career took a turn for the better. Nice Castle though, Stirling Castle is far better though don't you think? Sure you guys got a good look the other day.... Wonder if you guys could afford to sack heckingbottom or if it'll be another lennon situation. Will ask Santa if he will sort it for you guys by Christmas since we will be in lapland..... Rudolph the Red knows.
  3. When Gleeson goes there will be another DM brought in possibly one who can cover at CB I'm sure just incase Ojo isn't up to it or gets legs broken in a hibbee tantrum. Same if and when May leaves there will be another attacking player whether that's a number 9 or a 10 who can drop back into cm like Morrison. The squad looks strong but I'm sure the gaffer knows we could lose one or more of Cosgrove, Ferguson and Mckenna. Makes sense for last two signings whether loans or not to be there to cover two positions each. Hence I think Bostock and Morrison rumours might have something in them. I'd take Mulumbo on a permanent deal now instead of Bostock but the latter is a better age. Could easily be Pittman (also a better age but would require a fee) instead of Morrison who can play AM and CM. A wee bit tweaking still to be done. But two players off a cracking squad at this stage is good going. If clubs ambitions are achieved (reaching europa league groups) then we would be playing 2 games a week till Christmas at least.
  4. Reading between the lines McInnes will be working on finding May and Gleeson new clubs and replacing both. Wouldnt be surprised to see us go back in for Bostock on loan and if Morrison fancies Scotland then I'm sure Deek will better any offer outside Glasgow for him or similar type. Euro football is a big lure if squad is good enough also the fact we don't do relegation will see sensible heads turned our way as well as recent cup and league performances prove. Then it's win bonuses, we play more games on average than anyone else outside Glasgow, so more bonuses, more games to play and just an all round bigger club than what's available in Edinburgh. 2 out and 2 in and job done. COYR
  5. I reckon the reds will be more dangerous with another week under our belts. If McKenna and Devlin play to their capabilities then I can see McGinn and Mackay Steven getting us a goal or two. Theyre a good team but nothing special. Better athletes than fitba players, Ill say 2 - 1 to us (3 - 2 agg). We lacked that wee bit sharpness, McGinn could have been through one on one a couple of times if the final pass was that split second earlier.
  6. decades..... hhmmmm, over a century since hearts were a big club ( lucky as peppy would put it ), up there with queens park. enjoy yer attendance cup - yaay! AFC** - real cups only.
  7. ni night peppy, mummy will be up to tuck you in shortly. Football - not just for kids. AFC**
  8. ach when i was peppys age my team were one of the best teams in europe, humping real madrid (not atletico, ken.... the big madrid club ), bayern munich, hamburg.... ahhhh memories peppy, you probably feel that way about yer seaside league campaigns..... hearts..lol.... different measures of success for wee clubs i suppose. AFC**
  9. your right peppy, hibs have won more than hearts in last 50 years so id make them 4th biggest in scotland and biggest in auld reekie, hearts a distant 5th. AFC**
  10. to be fair youve been unlucky a lot more for a lot longer.... shame that. most of hearts trophies came in 1800s peppy. AFC** how many seaside leagues has the big yoyo capital club won? SUCCESS is what counts kids. stay off the crack boys.
  11. show us your medals peppy.... seaside leagues dinnae count, theyre for the wee clubs. AFC** see those two stars peppy? ( lights wee peppys fuse and walks away )
  12. itll be king driving down the price of the shares, hes got form....
  13. probably just wants a break from early european starts. hasnt had a break in a few years so going to hearts will give him a breather at the end of season and some league cup group games to get him ticking over. if he does go id imagine it will be tight fight between hearts and tommy wrights st johnstone for 4th . my money would be on the experienced wright when he gets his usual bargain or two in.
  14. would you guys take pawlett and a voucher for 15p off a litre of fuel at esso?
