  1. I agree they M&M should have been given a chance to show what they can do, but after 3 games that were definitely no improvement on RM's efforts, is that really the time to give them the job?

Why not give them 6 or 7 games then decide?

It is like our board deliberately set out to make themselves look like arseholes.

  2. This pish about 30 applicants as well. Are we really expected to believe that not a single one of them didn't have a better looking CV than the two complete novices that got the gig? Now we have to hope and pray that M&M somehow cast a magic spell that transforms the team rather than trust someone with a proven track record?

I know every new appointment is a gamble, but I have seen nothing to merit the lads getting the job.

    It is bewildering.

Close the South Stand and move into the North Stand. There is no justification for shelling out 75k a year other than lining someone's pockets.

Do you know what the deal is regarding the SS?

It *could* be that SA has leased it to FFC for a minimum number of years so that he would be guaranteed at least his money back.

But, if the  lease is on a yearly basis then I totally agree with you.

Gotta laugh at this entire post Falkirk are in the 1st division guys and that is their current level.... first half was better for Falkirk and second half was all about Fife. At least we can accept that this our level for now instead or recalling halcyon times that are long gone based on that performance yesterday. Better brush up toot sweet or part time football awaits Falkirk if you don’t get back up next season. Bookmark this post boys emoji41.png

Next thing you will be telling us is that the surface of the sun is quite hot.

  5. I would have more respect for some of the Fifers if they came on here and ripped us BEFORE a game instead of these post match 'drive-by' posts that many make

I really don't mind having the pish ripped, for me it is all good craic, and if you take it to heart you need to re-evaluate your life.

We all know how it goes. We get ripped for poor results and then we, hopefully, hit a good spell and return the pish with gusto.

Agreed and a balanced view. We are a P/T club with a loyal fan base - we can go on strong runs both good and bad.

We have played you twice now and not much between the teams. We are not going to get promoted this year but neither are you.

I think our season now depends on what happens with the manager situation and just how much money is available to spend in January. If the current managers do not win next week I am almost certain they wont get the permanent job. There is a possibility that we bring in another manager who could be connected well enough to get us 2 or 3 decent players on loan, there is also the possibility that any new manager could fail drastically.

I think it is too early to call who will and wont go up, if things stay as they are yes, I agree that neither of our teams will be promoted. We have two positive things in our favour at the moment the BoD, as incompetent as they are, are at least aware that it is vitally important that we go up this year and the fact that no one is running away with the league. The fact that our team is utter dross is something we are not unaware of.

We can go on bad runs, and then nosedive from there. :D :D

Aye, the supposed pish level of SPFL1 is why a full-time side are struggling to remain above mid-table

Just because a team is full-time doesn't mean they are automatically a good team. Clearly the players we have signed are not good enough or they simply do not play well together. I would say since week 3 or 4 most Falkirk fans had concerns over how we were playing, not long after that many of us were saying how pish we really are. This continual ignorance about what Falkirk fans really think about our team is verging on the surreal. I dont know any Falkirk fan who thinks we are a good team, how the hell could they? :D

It is the fact that Falkirk are so utterly dreadful, and yet still well in with a chance of winning the league that we have to conclude that the other teams are as shit as we are.

    Is English your first language?

Look at what you are claiming I said.

"0-0 draws are an indicator of how shite a league is. That's what you've actually said."

Now look at what I actually did say.

"The cup results were just one example of how pish poor this league is, another example were the two midweek games last week that finished 0-0, but of course it was cold and wet and not ideal for playing football in."

Show me where I said that a 0-0 score is an indicator of how shite a league is and I will donate £100 to the charity of your choice.

I said that the two games that finished 0-0 as an indicator of which games I was talking about. There is not even the slightest suggestion that they were shite because it finished 0-0.

I now see why you were struggling with it, your reading comprehension is abysmal.
