Harry Pinkerton was capped for Sottish League ( War Time International) while playing with Falkirk FC. but not for Junior Scotland. Alex Walls came to BU's from Fauldhouse Un. and moved to Leith Ath. So different Walls.

Some big crowds in those days, would be struggling to get a gate half that size in the Junior Cup Final today. Looking forward to the coming weeks Jambo when the latter rounds of the Cups were played. Will be interesting to hear of the crowds attending, especially from this era.

There used to be a Framed Landscape Painting hung in the boardroom at Newtown Park, presented by I'm sure an Irish Club to Bo'ness United in commemoration of a game. This maybe the match you are referring to. I think the name could begin with an L, but could be wrong.

Bang on Des. 6.30 KO. Have ticket for game ( mustn't have went to game) Don't know how to show it on here but will do so when I get someone to show me. Maybe a collectors item. lol.

Old Altrinchamians.

Obviously not the same player but could be a point of interest to you. Terry Reilly a Kilsyth man played with the BU's in the late '40s, he was also a centre.
