  1. Well I'll be going for the Premium ticket, it's great value. At a minimum of 21 games, it's £12.85 a game. And obviously if we're in more home Cup games, that average cost will go down. Superb that the Club have taken into consideration about the monthly payment option, maybe entice more fans to take up a ST with that option... And also if your at Uni or College with the student option (maybe had that this year but was only the bridge between 16 and 19, wasn't it?). Anyway, nice one Rovers!
  2. Good to see a decent turn out for Ally's game today. Due to the timing of the train back from Dumfries stopped me from making it. Buzzing about the playoffs being secured. Intelligent thing now would be to rotate against Dumbarton & Livi and field a decent team against Falkirk.
  3. Buzzing off that news about Cuthbert staying. McKeown next please.
  4. 100% agree with Renton there. Robertson has shown he has quality! And it's clear to see his off the ball work rate is excellent. And also echoing the fact we had Daly up top didn't help him at all. I personally think in our current XI he'd thrive off the movement he's got in front off him (Connelly/Longridge/Harry P/Hardie). Everyone that's signed up for next season, I'm pretty happy about. I think now, Cuthbert & McKeown should be the priorities. I'd like Barr and Connelly to sign on also, but truth be told I think the later will be offskie unfortunately. Slight change in topic, the last game of the season has been moved to the Sunday - absolute nonsense!! Was looking forward to a few pints on the Saturday. Now since it's a Sunday, I'll need to drive to it (if I still go that is). Surely the playoff dates will be moved? If not that'll be 3 games in 6 days...
  5. Plus all the people who decided not to go simply because it was the Rangers.
  6. I've went for Rory McKeown, he's been excellent all season. And stayed relatively injury free.
  7. Quarter-final first leg is on my birthday, happy days (result pending). Also may need to stick in an emergency holiday pending the result ha! C'mon Rovers!!
  8. Ray Mac said in an interview (one of the pre-match vids) that the 28 days thing on the loan was just a contingency thing for Rangers, but said he'd be here until the end of the season. So I highly doubt that it's finished today...
  9. To be fair, 1 of them, the Smurn away match, was meant to be played back in January. Also makes for interesting away days, albeit I'm missing the easiest one this Saturday haha.
  10. "The Stark’s Park boss, who has lined up a wide-left midfielder on a pre-contract agreement" IYMI
  11. I wonder at times what people watch/see players do. Up until Connelly signed Craigen was our most creative midfielder. I for 1, would like to see him at San Starko next season again.
  12. I didn't think that, but I did get the impression towards the end of it he couldn't be arsed with the interview anymore haha, totally chomping at the bit to get away - but that might have been due the fact his car share was ready to leave haha... Quality player though! I do hope he's here next season.
  13. Novo, was 18 in 33. (According to wiki) I'm all for this Norwegian striker, total Unknown, just as long as he give us some focal point, and can score. (Not much to ask for)
  14. What matches have you been watching? He's our only creative player, and he's normally pretty good when on the ball which is why it's disappointing at times when he knows he should've done better. I'll admit though, he was howling on Saturday but everyone is allowed a bad day at the office.
  15. Players I'd definitely keep for next season; Cuthbert Thomson, Bene (obv), Toshney (obv), Rory, Bates Callachan, Craigen, McCord, Matthews, Anderson, Megginson Vaughan (100% must), Stewart The rest (that's been in and out the 1st XI) I'm not overly fussy for, but I think this core is decent.
  16. Hibs in The Cup is an awful draw! Yes it's at home which is decent but Hibs don't bring all that much fans. What was attendance for the league match, barely 4k? And as mentioned above, play them in the league the week before, can't see a big crowd at this at all. Would have been so much better to get someone not in our league. I really do hope we can progress in this, but a difficult game at hand this. Brutal for Thompson though, we really are missing him, and I agree, I can't get over the folk that moan about him.
  17. I'd take Riordan, fair enough he's a scumbag but I'm sure he'll do a job, plus he was decent at free kicks wasn't he? I'm sure Ray Mac already has a few candidates for a striker for the 2nd half of the season. I'd extend Wighton's loan spell. He gets it tight on this from some fans and very unfairly in my opinion, but I genuinely think he's a player. Any news on our injuries? Kinda glad we've got a weekend "off", a rest for those injured but then 3 difficult games all within a week to follow up on.
  18. What a bunch of wee fanny's!! As for the goal scorers, that's excellent news, especially for Robertson, he'll be that bit sharper too. Him & Davo centre mid on Saturday please. I'd like to see Megginson start too (albeit in the right side), at least if it's not working then Anderson can come on. Looking forward to Saturday, 2-0.
  19. Looking at our Q2 fixtures, I reckon we'll take 15, but I'd be also he very happy with anything more than 11/12. Some tricky ones. Full of confidence after Q1 anyway. Nice 2 week break for the boys to recover from any knocks and then be raring to go against Alloa. I'm still 50/50 on whether to go to that or not.
  20. Not buying that, I read some where last night that Utd were after Stuart McCall. Can't remember the source though, typical, but it was on a link on Twitter, was a paper, so must be gospel haha! As for tomorrow's game, I think we'll win, just, 2-1, I think we'll lose our first home goal, and much like the QotS game, it'll be tight. I hope I'm wrong and it's a comfy 2/3-0.
  21. Yeah I went to Dysart Primary, and remember this also, a wee packed lunch and kick about with the players on a Saturday morning at BHS, it was excellent!! They should totally bring this back, even just trial run it for a few weeks, can only be a positive. Also gets kids off their arse and off the X-Boxes. I'm only 27, but sound like 67 saying that haha!!
  22. This is actually a really good idea, obviously something like this would be ideal at the start of the season, missed that chance now I'm thinking, maybe not though. But if the opportunity arose for this, the either of the 2 home games in March I'd say; St. Mirren and Hibs. For a few reasons, it's about now that families are thinking about Xmas etc, and everyone knows that doesn't come cheap, regardless of who you are you're always skint in January and February is normally the recover month, thus getting to March and they are 2 fairly big games IMO, with people then having money to spend and also, on record March is normally pretty good weather wise (obviously not taps aff type weather but it's dry). I don't know. Obviously if there's an appetite for it on here, surely there's a way you can propose ideas to the club to try and potentially organise something like this...
