@AngusTheBull Yes, I understand the DM is the problem line, it is loud and clear on the forum, and i understand the frustration, but life is not black and white. The senior people in the club need to put their big trousers on, as do the players and address the issue and take responsibility in order to get 3rd place. Also, we have no given right to expect 3rd, especially given the calibre of players and manager at Hibs. Good to have some competition, as long as we end up in 3rd .

We are still in the running for 3rd, it is defo possible, but only if the club can address the cause of our woeful form. Obvs our form is shite, but that is the challenge for Cormack and McIness. There is too much riding on it for all concerned! Re DM longer term, well lets see where we get to at the end of this season. If the shit performances and results continue he should go, but lets see.

On Sam Cosgrove. Derek and his team deserve acknowledgement for turning a player without a senior goal before arriving with us, bought for £27k and sold for £2m (tbc). Great work.

So, I was at the game with my family as we were on holiday in the North East, and planned it in - only get to a few games a season. Daughters first game, I have taken my boys before - don't think my wife has been at a game since Skovdahl era finals v OF... It was a v depressing night. The ref was howling, but we should have worked that out and been smarter, but we were not. We seemed yards off the pace, unable to mark up. I don't think this was helped by our shape, they had width at all times which we could not combat all night. I was clear to see why Wilson is not getting a game. The boy was blowing out of his arse 10 mins after coming on and looked like he would rather be anywhere else. In fact, too much walking and not enough movement throughout the team. DM will have a job picking the team up for Sunday. Strange how quickly things have turned, hopefully they can return to form this weekend. Just my immediate thoughts this morning from last night. Would be interested in others views of the detail, away from the bikering etc.

Was always only a matter of time till McKenna departed, but the timing and apparent style (lack of) is extremely poor and with zero consideration for AFC at this critical point in the Euro campaign.
