I don't need to name one but thanks. It's clear to everyone you have a sectarian problem. Was the Sash sung as well?
For your information he's not our owner Ludo - I've missed your constant mistakes and general stupidness.

Making light of your club's sectarian problem is cool though. Was it a sectarian song that was sung? Could be one of many I suppose.

Sweep sweep sweep.Remind me who your chairman is again?

Well would you believe it. Dundee FC and their sectarian element at it again.

Linlithgow has pretty good transport links to be fair. We got the train there when playing Bo'Ness and then taxi'd it. Few nice pubs near the station as well.

Dancer if you're on that.

I seem to remember McBookie having Sow a ridiculously large price to finish top scorer by accident. What was this price? Anyone one it.

I never actually realised Linlithgow gain membership due to meeting SFA guidelines and not on merit. This is totally wrong.
I frequently entertain junior games and throughly enjoy it. I did have a player leap over the railing and square up to me at Fauldhouse - the same day a fan assaulted the referee - but that aside I've never witnessed any trouble. I wouldn't fancy going to an Ayrshire Derby mind you.
As I stated many juniors teams would be a great addition to the scottish game but they are too content being big fish in small ponds. Once the novelty wore off and crowds stated dwindling as they weren't winning games and trophies it would be a different story.
Edit: I hold my hands up that I wasn't aware in the change in transfer dealings. It has been a few years since I was involved as such.

This is totally spot on.How exactly do junior clubs enhance the cup? If you want grounds you might not get to every other week, the lowland/highland leagues add that. The juniors are in for the payday against the larger teams and that alone. I'd prefer it was kept to clubs who want to move up the ladder as opposed to their own wee bubble.
Junior fans are also very aggressive.

I tend to agree that an open ended draw would be excellent. I frequently go to Haddington Athletic games (or did) and I enjoyed some of the away games. The thought of Cowden playong Dufftown or something away would be fantastic but until they sort themselves out its a no. There's too many junior clubs run extremely corruptly. Tighten the regulations, restructure it all and if clubs have to drop down to amateur status (which many junior clubs are already) then so be it.
Top 4 leagues. Highland 1 and 2. Lowland 1 and 2. Then regionalise it similar to what it is at the moment. Bottom tier would essentially be the bottom tier of the junior set up at the moment - with a few exceptionsz

Because it's not fair on clubs that meet such criteria - at sometimes large costs. Where's the incentive to get all teams under one unbrella. That should be the main goal. Have you been to many junior grounds? It would be embarrassing to allow them in our premier cup competition. Obviously Central is a dump but we meet regular standards at a large cost to the club.
Can Cowden enter the Scottish Junior cup though? As I've stated prior.
Their whole suspension system is a joke as well. Players playing that are thugs. If a junior keeper is given a straight red for denying a goal scoring opportunity his only punishment is missing the remaining duration of the game. Nothing else.
Their whole transfer policy is a mind f**k that I've never witnessed anything like it. Totally backwards organisation.
They want to play in our competition then can join our league system but they don't want to as theres too many glorified amateur clubs.
Anyway that's the last I'll say on it to avoid spamming up the thread and we clearly differ in views.

It's amusing to see raging Ayr fans all looking forward to slagging 'that beast Tiffoney' (sp?) while not seeing the irony that they had Lithgow playing for them for years.

Their suspension rules, their transfer and contracf rules, ground regulations. Just about everything. If they want to play in our cup they can join our pyramid.

I'm not disputing whether it has or hasn't enhanced the cup am I? I'm not saying they won't bring crowds. I'm saying they should not be allowed in the competition as they do not comply with the rules that all clubs have to abide by.
0 -
So because they bring big crowds they should be allowed in the cup? Why not invite English teams?
The SJFA are an entirely separate organisation who have completely different rules on transfers and suspensions - to name two. If they want to take part in the SFA's premier cup competition they should follow the rules that all other clubs have to adhere to.
0 -
Yes but all of those clubs in England are governed by the FA. Junior clubs have their own SJFA, if they want to join our cup competitions they can join our system.
Can we enter the Scottish junior cup?
0 -
Disagree here. I wouldn't let any of them in. They are an entirely separate organisation with their own rules and their own Scottish cup.Cracking draw that. For both teams, probably. The kind of game the Cup is all about.
(I'd let all the juniors in, myself.)

If our tie against Bo'Ness is anything to go by you'll win comfortably and Nade will face some unsavoury abuse from the natives. Stuff youd expect to hear in the 70s.

Raith fans constantly seem to claim they get poor cup draws but from my memory you have had very good ones in recent years.
0 -
exactly. I was probably next to you when the first team walked into the queue for the pie shop. No idea what was wrong with any of them - and I wouldn't be allowing them pies either on match day.0
-
What difference does it make keeping fans up to date? We have 7 players out injured and I have no idea of any of their injuries. So f**k.

That's prett good! f**k em.
