England have batted brilliantly today. Totally different team from the one that played the Aussies.
262/4 off 43 overs. Chance to get 320+

England started brilliantly but let Sri Lanka off the hook a wee bit. Knowing England and the conditions i doubt England will chase 213.
Or not.

Doomsday
Tragic. Terrible over-acting, rubbish predictable storyline, so manty parts make no sense at all. Really it was a bunch of Scots twats running around with face paint on. Im still angry at the thought of watching it. Still it had a couple of good gore scenes which was the only saving grace.

Ordinary Decent Criminal
I really like Kevin Spacey so i thought it was a pretty good watch. Took me a while to get use to the irritating accent but after that it was a solid watch if not a touch predictable, mainly in the ending.

Runaway Jury
Second time ive seen this and i enjoyed it as much as the first time. A good cast and an interesting storyline that invites you to actually have a think instead of just sitting back and watching it. Well worth a watch.

Do the Airdrie & Cowden fans feel as sick as I do?
No, just pissed off at being messed around. Do we have a verdict yet??

Heat
Typical cat and mouse style film but with a very good, all star cast. Pacino is absolutely brilliant. He is quite light hearted throughout untill the end. He portrays every emotion very well. Some decent actions scenes too which, all in all, make 'Heat' a very good enjoyable watch.

i also find myself really liking Justin Timberlake as an actor.
Have you seen 'Edison' then? Another enjoyable watch.

I bought a set of six horror films from ministry of shite deals, someone pick one for me to watch tonight!
I won't look up IMDb and see what they are about (although you can) before watching it in case it makes me not bother!
The choices are Evil Never Sleeps, Axe, The Possessed, The Fear, Pieces and The Slaughter.
Thats sounds ace. How much was it?
I watched Alpha Dog again last night.
When i first watched it i wasnt expecting to like it buti really did for some reason. The guy in it that was in 'Get Over It' probably played the best part and manages to create a wee bit of comedy in the film. A very good watch.

Very close to an 8

Wolf Creek was a very ordinary horror film. Seen so many films just like it but each has a slight tweak of the stroy line. Does nothing to deserve more than a 5/10. Very mediocre

The Strangers 4/10
Not a big fan of horror movies and this didn't do anything to change my mindset. I ended up fast forwarding my way through it as there was very little dialogue and it was pretty dull (*cough* scary *cough*).
Aww too scary for you? No point giving it a mark if you watched most of it(well whatever you didnt fast forward) from under your covers

Under Seige
As predictable a film as you will see(well not quite) but its enjoyable none the less. Tommy Lee Jones plays a good insnane bad guy in this hijack action film. Doesnt have much else to offer i cant help but really like Seagal in this film.

Spaceballs
Another funny film from Mel Brooks with lots of comical moments, not as good as Blazin Saddles or Young Frankestein but well worth a watch. Rick Moranis plays a really good part in what is a good overall film

The Missionary - 7.5/10
Had some great moments. I did feel the storyline could have been better and it could have focussed on his time at the mission in London more as there was comic potential in that. A bit of nudity would have been good aswell. Very pythonesque and very reminicant of Ripping Yarns. The film just was very typical of Michael Palin. I would happily watch this again.
Very good film. A Palin classic.

I think that Tarantino is the most overrated director ever.
Wouldnt disagree with you.
The International
How fucking annoying is Clive Owens voice. Anyway it wasnt particularly great. Didnt have the exciting storyline with a dramatic twist that conspiracy films tend to have, add that to just one action scene and im wondering what actually happened in the film. There wasnt even a romantic kiss or two people falling for each other that 'nobody' expected. Probably worth a watch but just the once.

His voice is one of the reasons. But he seems to have something about him that makes me want to hit him. But I can't quite put my finger on what it is.
Yeah i know the feeling...

Nicolas Cage is a fud.
Why? Apart from his boring monotonous voice i quite like him.
Pulp Fiction
It was far from the movie i expected. I do like the way Tarantino directs his films but this wasnt the classic i anticipated.

Anyone watching the Aussies v Pakistan game? Some brilliant death bowling by Pakistan but it looks too little too late. Really exciting game.
