Chris Ryan - The Increment.
All his books are similarly written but it doesnt make them any less exciting. Some parts become predictable when you have read a lot of his stuff but still a really enjoyable read.
7\10.
Just started Tom Clancy's Powerplay 'ruthless.com'

Naked Gun 2 and 1\2 - The Smell of Fear
Another great outing from Leslie Nielsen and the whole of the 'Police Squad' team. Non-stop jokes and a great watch.

Chris Ryan's: Firefight
Ok so i havent quite finished it but its been a really good read so far. It doesnt compared to Ryan's 'The Watchman' but still a good read.

Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad
Watched it last night for the nth time. Its a superb film with funny moments throughout. Leslie Nielsen plays a great part as he always does. His facial expression are tremendous. Never get bored of watching this film and you always see something you missed the last time you watched it.

It was an awesome game last nigh Disappointed it didnt go all the way but not to be.
I really feel for Barney sometimes when i see him. He has some real issues and if only he could get them sorted he could really give 'the power' a headache in most tournaments

As I've said before, I don't want to see any team go out of business, but at the same time if I was ever in a position where I had a choose a club for it to happen to, it would be Livingston.
Truer words were never spoken.

The Green Man
A timeless classic. Superb acting by Alistair Sim and George Cole, so many funny but true moments.

That is a decent shout. And for once the team will not be undercooked.Maybe if they lose there will be the calls of too much cricket... I would give Swann a game.
Swann is bound to play, infact surely he is a shoe in to play. I would go 2 spinners as well. Pretty much the same team as SK posted. Although i am tiring of Flintoff, injured too much and not on the top of his game enough. He is vital for England but would they be that much worse off without him?

Watched [REC] and i thought it was pretty good. Would have been better if i hadnt just seen Quarantine but it was a much more realistic film. You did get a much greater sense of the fear of everyone. It was miles better than all of the pish horror films that are made in this country and the states.

On to The Orphanage now...

Aside from wouldn't-it-be-nice-if-Scotland-did-well, does anyone actually give a toss about this world cup?
Not particularly. I hope England do OK but apart from that.
Andrew Symonds has been sent home by Australia for disciplinary reasons ahead of the World Twenty20 tournament
Rumoured to involve alcohol. He must be nearing the end of his international career...

The plot isn't different in the slightest, but the way it's made is, and that makes a world of difference. For a start, the remake is far too glossy, and that takes away the absolute hell on earth that [REC] managed to create.
I didn't think there was much wrong with the remake, but it just didn't have the same impact. The original was frightening. This wasn't.
Nice one. I saw [REC] was in HMV so might be worth investing in

Anyone seen the strangers http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0482606/
Going to watch it tonight
Yes. It wasnt too scary but a couple of 'jump' moments. Worth a watch but it was overhyped
Anyway: Quarantine
I thought it was OK. I would like to see the original to see if it is much different. The ending was good to see for once. Could have done with a bit more gore.

Was Marray not 5-1 down in the second round and he won the set 7-5 though?

I've just completed an Honours Geograhy degree.
What made me say it? The fact that I know so many idiots from school who got a couple of scraped Higher passes, and thought that doing further education would do wonders for their job prospects. The invariably like sports (as basically everyone does) and so chose this as their course because it was easy to get into and something they enjoyed.
In reality, it's going to get them absolutely nowhere in life (well, maybe a job in Stenny Sports Centre) as it isn't worth the piece of paper it's written on. It might be worth slightlymore if attained at a decent educational facility, but not at Falkirk College.
Had to chuckle at that. For once i couldnt agree more with you

I left school with an unconditional for uni, but decided to do higher maths there to pass the time. I've never been to a more depressing place in my life. It's full of people doing 'sports coaching' and other shite and pointless diplomas like that.
Ok, what made you say that? What do you study out of interest? Im going to say something to do with English or Geography.
Edinburgh is full of people doing sports coaching too, they walk around full of their own self-importance. So what are you going to do with that 'degree'? Ermm, thought so.

Despite 2 rain breaks England will have this wrapped up in the next couple of hours. The Windies are 166 for 7 (39.5 overs). Shiv is digging in a bit with 45
Edit: Last ball before lunch Anderson gets Benn 167 for 8 (41.0 overs)
The end is nigh

I could have got a bowl for the Windies today

Im not a big fan on 20Twenty. I was at first but now its starting to get tedious. Chris Gayle's comments were ridiculous
