  1. Julian Lescott must have been sent home on a regular basis then lol
  2. Were defo worth a draw on Saturday, mind you, if AWR had their shooting boots on in the 1st half we could have got a real doing but we weathered the pressure well. Andy Campbell had an outstanding game for us though.
  3. Nope, it's not started yet & I don't expect it to until next year.
  4. In my local (Station Bar-Yoker) it's pints of Belhaven Light, £1 a pint.
  5. Great result on Saturday & a much need three points against a weakened Luger Boswell but not caring about that as our losing streak came to an end. Goals from Hadji (2) Maitland & Bissland secured the points. Our next two games are away, Ardrossan Winton Rovers on Saturday & Bellshill Athletic the following week.
  6. Battle of The Bulge (2017). Utter pish, hardly a tank to be seen & any vehicles that were shown were probably hired from Bruce Compton - Combat Dealer.
  7. At home to Lugar Boswell Thistle tomorrow, 2.00pm KO
  8. All factors are c**ts and should put up against a wall & shot, absolute robbing bar stewards!!!!
  9. Sore one to take on Saturday, should have won the game on our 2nd half showing alone, perfect good equaliser ruled offside by the worst referee of the season so far, managed to alienate both teams. Great display in goal from Andy Campbell seeing as his namesake Liam was on holiday. At home to Lugar Boswell Thistle on Saturday, 2.00pm KO.
  10. Hopefully going to St. Luke & the Winged Ox next Friday to see IBG supporting Space.
  11. Away to East Kilbride Thistle on Saturday, 2.00pm KO.
  12. Drawn away to Muirkirk (somewhere in Ayrshire)in the 2nd Round of the Scottish Cup, 29th September, 14.30pm KO.
  13. At home to Greenock on Saturday, 2.00pm KO, hopefully a home win.
  14. James Ross who played with us previously at CH has started training with us as has Greg "Tiny" Maitland. Kerr Allan should be back from injury this weekend (hopefully) & Steven Howie should be back from his holiday by now. At home to Maybole on Saturday 2pm KO.
  15. We were seriously understrength on Saturday, we only had one sub. All things considered it wasn't a bad performance & we only lost the second goal with a couple of minutes to go. We are needing a centre half, a centre forward & an attacking midfielder.
  16. A disappointing home defeat to Glasgow Perthshire last night (1-2). We were never really in the game apart from the opening period of the second half. GP scored a fluke late on in the second half & we never seemed to recover from it. A Kyle Callaghan free kick shaved the post in the last couple of minutes but was as near as we came to getting an equaliser. A poor performance compared to how we played on Saturday but I'm sure the boys will pick themselves up for Saturday's away game at Port Glasgow, home of "Scotland's Finest", El D Tonic Wine.
  17. The game wasn't as close as the score line suggests, Wishaw scored their third in the 97th minute, the Whe Ho were always in control of this game. Next up is Glasgow Perthshire on Wednesday at Holm Park, KO 7.00pm
  18. I attended all three cup games plus the friendly against Johnstone Burgh. Not overly concerned about the results so far but the fact we've had four players sent off before the league season starts is a tad worrying.
  19. Nothing to report although there are a few trialists taking part in pre-season training.
  20. Graham George resigned as manager at the weekend. I was told on Monday morning but was asked to hold off until today, the reason being there was a meeting at Holm Park last night so the players could meet the new management team which was swiftly put in place after Graham's resignation. The new manager is Maurice (Mo) George (no relation) & his assistant is Brian Mulholland, who played for us at the beginning of last season. Both Mo & Brian have played at the top level in the Seniors & Juniors & will be bringing a more professional outlook to the Whe Ho next season. A positive reaction from all present (including myself)
  21. A great night out was had in Partick afterwards, Bag O' Nails & the Quarter Gill.
  22. Next week's fixtures: 21/05/18 - Thorniewood (h) 7.30 KO 23/05/18 - Shotts BA (h) 7.30 KO No indication of when the Wishaw game will be played, nothing on the SJFC website, well done Fixture Man.
  23. Bud Light (stilleth pish water).
  24. The Captain Morgan's advert, The Captain (raises glass) If I hear Dilly feckin' Dilly once more I shall commit murder (Bud Light is pee water btw)
