In fairness, only someone who didn’t know that United hadn’t won a UEFA Cup (i.e. no one), would’ve interpreted it the way you did.
Because I know they didn’t, I immediately interpreted it as having got to a final, despite the agreed shocking English.
I knew Utd hadn't won the UEFA Cup and interpreted it the way I did!
Anyhow , I think we're all clear now that Utd haven't won any silverware in Europe.

It's not perfect English but I read it as United getting to the final only which should be seen as an achievement despite us not winning the trophy.
An interesting interpretation I have to say - you've added a fair bit of poetic licence there.

The first table you see is the 'first phrase'
Scroll down and you get the 'second phase' tables.
It's a shitshow,
I saw that but, for me, it's the wrong way around - the 2nd phase table should be the latest i.e. after 34 games and the other (1st phase) after the 33 games.

The dumpster fire that is the new BBC Sport website keeps on delivering.
If you click through to a match from the fixture list, then click on "Tables", it shows you the final pre-split table despite it having today's date at the top.

Yep...but if you access the table using the top menu it's the current one.

Embarrassing from us.
Right...the bad PR alone surely outweighs any financial benefit.

They got to the UEFA final though , and European cup semi finalists like yourselves.
Over that period they were more of a European force that yourselves
And most of us Dees would agree with that last sentence but the claim that they won a euro final is just fantasy and was quite rightly called out.

With Virgin Media, last time I signed up to them they gave me something like an £80 a month discount if I took out an O2 phone package.. That costs £30 a month. Got a sim card sitting in a drawer.
I'm paying £91 a month for TV, broadband, landline, sky cinema, sky movies, plus this £30 mobile contract. So £121 in total for the lot.
I pay for £75 p.m. for TV (Netflix and Cable); fiber Internet and landline but no mobile contract. I'd say you're probably getting a better deal given the poor quality of our Cable TV. Luckily EPL and SPFL is free on Setanta here.

I genuinely don't think there would be any Saints in a joint team. It certainly wouldn't be loaded with Saints
Thank you
Harsh - Billy Thomson might get a place on the bench.

Funny sentence in this Daily Record write-up of our new owners. Think they might have forgotten there's another Dundee club. https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/st-johnstone-takeover-agreed-american-32712833
Just along the road from Saints in Dundee, Mark Ogren's ownership of Dundee United has seen the Tangerines relegated to the Championship. They;ve finally bounced back up after winning the title under Jim Goodwin, although must wait and see if the Perth club avoid the relegation playoff spot before they can take them on in an all-American Tayside derby next season.
Might be, or alternatively they wanted to show how having an American owner isn't a guarantee of success as both Dundee clubs have seen but Utd more recently i.e. just last season.

If it's a case like this where the on-field referee gives a straight red and it's reviewed by the VAR team who confirm the original decision is it even possible for there to be grounds for an appeal?
The grounds would be that they all got it wrong.

I'm hopeful we can pick up points against Hearts and Kilmarnock, but Kilmarnock are such a bogey team for us at the minute and despite probably deserving something from our recent game against Hearts, we came away with nothing. Dundee seem like a side that are more capable of grinding out a result than us.
I'm equally hopeful of points v Hearts and Killie but if we don't win on Saturday we need 2 more than you against them . And we need to erode that GD and Saturday is a great chance to do that with the double whammy effect.
I'm sure you'd bite our hands off for a point but we wouldn't.

Which makes the song rather ironic. Wonder if she meant it.
As for the game, I wouldn't sniff at a point. We played well on Sunday, by all accounts Dundee did too. I'm resigned to Dundee leapfrogging us at some point, so it would be nice to cling on to 5th for another week at least.
I think our only real chance to leapfrog you comes on Saturday. If you can get a draw you'd be favourites to hold on to 5th.
