It was definitely unfortunate and Coll was doing his best for the team. Very harsh decision but sadly the only one the ref could make due to the high boot. Coll is not a dirty player like some we have seen which makes it appear a lot more difficult to accept

It's certainly nothing like a Kung Fu kick .If you pause run it through on the highlights (Yes I'm bored this morning)Coll gets there first and the ball is there to be won which he does cleanly they then basically collide as bavidge changes direction very slightly at the last minute . It's one of those things. Coll does everything to play the ball but he'd probably have actually been better making no attempt to play the ball as he'd more than likely have come off better in a straightforward collision with bavidge . Fact he might even have got the foul funnily enough.
Purely unintentional with Bavige coming in to meet it. Made it a head on collision but Colls foot is high with studs first

Well done Alloa. Great second half of the season.

I am in the elderly brigade and from my angle right behind the goals it looked like a kung fu kick that Bruce Lee would have been proud of! Not intentional but a definite red. The ref saw it from behind Coll and called it right. Agree with many that it was about the only thing he got right.

Ach calm doon. I was just making a quip that conceding two goals isn't quite holding firm!
And you are right but second half they held firm and showed courage. I will forgive the daft defending for the second goal !!!

It would have been nice to see us go all out for the win that we desperately needed but my sources tell me that it was yet another horrific display from us. Created virtually nothing and relied on the sad fact that Stirling are equally as piss poor as we are. Our Manager is incapable of rallying the troops even in a crisis of this scale.
i get the logical argument saying that we have possibly done enough to avoid ninth BUT I am certainly not counting Annan out of winning at Falkirk. We see crazy results every year at this time of the season and teams with nothing tangible to play suddenly become vulnerable. We have two chances of course to take care of business but it is way past the stage where I would ever pin my hopes on Bartley and his Bottlers. Falkirk may be our best bet but what a terrible admission.
We still have the invincible tag to achieve so we will be up for the Annan game . Especially due to the fact that they sucker punched us for a draw in the 94th minute the last time we played. Time to put things right

Our two Centre Backs after the sending off had never played there together at all this season and still they held firm. That is the sign of a team with resilience.

Glad to see 99% of our KM7 stand cheering the team all of that second half. Thats what fans do not moan because we are not scoring freely when a man down

I think he went down about 5 mins before clutching his back off the back of a tackle. Physio was on so maybe its just mcglynn thought he didn’t want to sub off someone who was 100%
I remember that. It was his back he was holding

Looked a solid boot in the face from where I was in the south stand. A red card all day to be honest, just a challenge he shouldn't be making so no way it'll even get appealed.
I think the Kelty boy should have been sent off. He tried to break Coll's leg with his face. Straight red

Can I put a word in for the fans? South Stand showed what it was to get behind your team and support them.
The support was exceptional!

That felt as good as a victory and was as good a performance as we’ve given in some of our convincing wins. They gave everything today and Aiden Nesbitt put in the best performance I’ve seen in a Falkirk jersey in a long long time, absolutely superb.
I am sure there was 3 of Nizzy on that park as he appeared to be everywhere. Yeats was great too

He was not shunned by the PFA. It was just that a person in the striker role scored 20 goals and can swerve and dribble.
Do we think these early starts will catch on?

McIver is a big part of our success. He rarely loses an arial battle and his distribution is second to none. He is not top of the assist chart but if there was a chart for people who start an attacking move off he would be streets ahead. The dribbling swerving striker is a thing of the past. McGlynn likes a target man that lets others do their work. Burrell scored more goals but did not do a job for his team like big Ross

I think it is wonderful that there is a big variation in what people think is the goal of our season. It show that we have scored a variety of spectacular goals this season by different players from all over the park. Sign of a great team as we are not a one trick pony this season
I think the real goal of the season will be our third against Alloa in May. A thunderbolt from ..........

Just cant see a 33 year old man who has been part time for 9 years giving up a job for a contract that makes him lose a job and will have 3 or 4 years at best

Expected a bigger challenge from our closest rivals but it was a romp without any real effort from the champions

Would be great to see at least one of the young lads being kept and played from the bench. The only way to learn how to cope with senior football is being on the park. We saw that with previous players but in Elvis's time they went straight in due to necessity that season.
