I think Mulumbu is the only player available that’s in the same class as McGinn, he would be a cracking signing and although we’d obviously still miss McGinn, you could argue that we would be just as strong a team. Failing that I’d be happy with Campbell, Kamara or Magennis but as TGIG has already mentioned clubs will know we have cash on the hip and we’d have to pay over the odds.

Pretty poor to see the whatabouterry and deflection from the Hearts fans here, very Old Firm Like. There is a racist undercurrent that flows right through Hearts as a club and as an institution. It can be hidden pretty well nowadays but it never seems to be far from the surface I.e. Cole Stockton blacking up for a party, Concalves and his wife being chased out of the country and the recent video of Hearts players and management singing both a racist and homophonic ritual to Quitongo I believe. It really does make your skin crawl.

I think i actually prefer us going in at the First round as it gives us 180 minutes against a proper diddy team, which is better than going in cold like we did against Brondby and Malmo. In fact I’m sure we had Edinburgh City as our warm up game before facing a Brondby side well into their domestic League. Despite us nearly putting them out, you’re already at a huge disadvantage before a ball is kicked.
