I am the same (i never thought i would be supporting Langfield in anyway) Brown is a worse keeper then Langfield, it’s not fair to compare him to Ward. What annoys me with Brown more than anything is he is a coward who shy’s away from his job. Although Langfield sometimes made a real mess of coming for the cross ball at least he had the balls to go for it. Brown has decided staying on his line is the safest option, which in many ways is him sh*ting it. He’s not a great shot stopper (see hearts), the effect he has had on the defenders in front of him is also disastrous. The confidence in the man behind them is zero, which leads to them making strange calls.

That’s my point, i wasn’t very clear (rant) People should be picked and PLAYED when in form, like Jack/Pawlett a few years ago. Now they are out of form and have no experience so have never really develop in that aspect.

Spot on, Am sick of seeing Strachan on ITV covering some early round FA cup game, when we have a fixture in the spfl which has a number of good young Scottish players involved in it. He will make a joke when some league 2 nobody scores a tap in saying he will look into him, see if he has a Scottish granny. Guy is taking the team backwards, why continue with a bunch of players who have failed a number of times. The standard response from his supporters is "well who is better", i don’t know the answer to that but we will achieve nothing if we carry on down this track. We not take a bigger bunch of youngsters in and get them involved in the team early, and develope the national team in a club side style. He should be picking young player who are in form at the time and giving them caps. From Aberdeen’s side Pawlett and Jack should of been given far more game time over the past year or so. There are guys at United, Hearts and other teams who should have got calls when they were playing well. Why is there a need to make these guys play 100 plus games for the club side before they are given a shot, by that time they might be out of form or not developed to a national team level?

Should Greg Stewart not of been in with a chance of getting amongst one of these squads?

The thing is people are trying to say it should be him or Tierney blah blah blah. They should both be in the team, good young players. How about he drops some of the dead wood instead. He will be happy to go into another campaign with Hutton,Greer and Berra in the team.

Just watched the pen back for the first time, The main thing i took from it is how bad an attempt Brown made to save it, he moves so early, made life very easy for Craig. I know saving a pen is a complete lottery but at least hold your ground till the guy has taken it. Also I must add am not a fan of Brown so i might be being harsh.

I noticed that also, i would have church down as an out and out striker tbh. The reason for this being is he offers nothing else, he is not fast, skill full or tall. So if he isn’t a penalty box striker am not sure what he is. Why he spent so much time out wide no one will know, although Rooney (the best pen box striker in the league) finds himself doing this all the time to. Not really made my mind up on Church, i don’t think he’s bad am just not sure i think he is good either. I dont mind mentioning the last two transfer windows either, they have cost us big time.
