I love him to but.... Maybe eating less and better? Professional footballers don’t get fit by playing games.I dont love him, but at the level we play at match fitness means far more than most of us "fans" know.

Tbf to McCord I’ve seen him plenty of times out jogging on the Perth road at night. Pass him from work.I dont doubt he is fitter than all the people posting on here, as i said he is the sort of footballer who needs games to be match fit.

McCord isn't 2 stone over weight, maybe 1 at most....
He is from the Gazza build of footballer the sort that look chunky but get fit from playing games more than doing hours and hours at a gym.

You really were struggling last year!
Not enough players so there was a few boys played 3 or 4 positions when needed.
I would take Williams back good option to have in the squad

I'm calling for Campbell to be sacked now.
That way, if it goes tits up, I can smugly say that I knew better all along.
I think you will find im not being smug just stating a fact.
The fact is he wasn't up to the job and alot of his signings were awful, 2 players left after the first window closed and he clearly stated he would only use loans for emergency purposes but had to sign a whole load to make up his squad as he couldn't attract players in january for what ever reason.
DC is signing players early and of a better quality so no scrambling round trying to fill out a squad.

Big £££ getting spent on wages. Good luck if doesnt work out
To be fair when your clubs well run and you have played plenty of bigger teams in the cups and Rangers in the leage over the last 5 years you can afford to pay out good wages.

Can't ever have another season like that again. Big wake up call. No room to gamble with appointments in the future in this league. Lumsden could've taken us down which absolutely nobody expected at the start of the season. Back in safe hands now though thankfully.
Looking forward to an Edinburgh trip.
To be fair i was calling for Lumsden to be sacked from mid September.
But in the past now.

If DC has signed Hamilton as well then he can sign pretty much any part time player he wants!

Some great signings so far if the colin Hamilton rumour is true as well we will have some starting 11

Hopefully the rest of the signings well be of the same quality as Doris,
Defo want to see the minimum amount of loan signings and hopefully none of the development loan nonsense.
And i totally agree about signing 4 strikers in total...

Yes I have and as I say if we need 5 in midfield against east stirling even in the present situation then it just proves how badly off we are.have you seen us recently?
0 -
maybe not, but bring a friend for us season ticket holders might of and reduced prices. The standard of football definitely wasn't going to increase attendances.

Also think the club has missed a trick for this game, season ticket holders should have got to bring a friend and prices should have been reduced to maximise the crowd for such an important game.
We must be one of the few lower league clubs that hasn't tried to increase crowds through reduced prices or other schemes the last few years.

We don't have one that's my point and that's why we can't play with a four, we need the extra body in there to bolster the midfield
Shouldnt need 5 in midfield against east stirling at home.

No way can we play this system with that midfield four, not a tackler among them
Midfield enforcer shouldn't be needed against east stirling due to the fact we shouldn't let them have anything of the ball!

I fully expect a win on Saturday, and I think that should be enough,
I'd like us to go out all guns blazing, why not put linn up front and let him focus on attacking,
Fleming
Williams
Little
Munro
Rutherford
Ramsay
Whatley
Stewert
Lowden
Linn
Rutherford,
Of course if dick can do some Harry redknapp wheeling and bring in some fresh faces it's the best we got in my opinion,
Either way hopefully there's a big turn out and lots of support, we can not loose this,
#thedickway
That would probably be my line up on Saturday as well plus leaves Hester to come on and run at a tired defence...
Lowden has looked threatening in midfield of late and gives good width wasted at left back.

Be until at least 2017 I'd imagine if Iain is coming in too?
I'm over the moon with that, sort of feels the same as when Scotland punted Levein for Gordon Strachan!
An experienced guy that's been successful at this level finally taking over!! Obviously the 1st aim is to stay up, then i think we could have an interesting summer ahead.
He will hopefully see that an U19/20 is the first thing he should get the board setting up then sign a few more local guys from Angus, Dundee, Perth and fife for next season.

Solid appointment and hopefully the board will listen to ideas he has to improve and take the club forward as a whole.

Unlikely Petrie would come back more is the pity.
Dick Campbell, Jim Jefferies, Jimmy calderwood or any other experienced manager till the season ends then take stock at the end of the season and make an appointment for next season no later than the middle of May.
Also easy to mock someone's views when you sit behind a made up name and picture ????

My view of the game doesn't matter, we lost doesn't matter how they played what formation and all that. What were you're thoughts on today's game then?
We lost again and the way its going we will finish bottom when the least we should expect as fans is to finish 4th.

Oh well looks like my view of sacking Loser and Hissyfit should be a step closer or do the board wait for us to get beaten Tuesday night in Berwick.
Last 4 games

Football is meant to entertain and make fans want to attend.....
No one can truly say the present style and tactics do that on a week to week bases.
Anyway good luck to the PLAYERS for Saturday!

The Arbroath way is to get the ball down and try and play football and out score the visitors to Gayfield.
Not long balls and an isolated lone striker.

Maybe the 4 Angus clubs could get together on this.
Lets be fair none of the clubs in Angus have loads of players or under 19s!
