Dont think they joined the e.o.s.to save traveling.but to better their circumstances. Fixture list helps plan sponsirships.also gives a timetable for pitch maintenance also dicipline is transparent delt with by the s.f.a. the e.o.s.criteria also looks at player and supporters comfort at games.theres many denifites not just the lack of major travel.

Why would it!!!!. Again the west of scotland league will be a pyramid league for all clubs who meet entry criteria based on e.o.s.criteria.those clubs who wish to stay junior will not be effected in any way.as they will be JUNIOR.

Let be straight here. when the west if scotland league gets formed it will not just be for junior teams only.it will open to any club who wishes to join the pryamid system i f they make criteria. you really need to realise the senior leagues are run outwith the junior setup. again clubs who wish to remain junior can do so. its their CHOICE which some clubs have openly said they will do.

Yes. it certinaly is a great copition,but that cup will there for the JUNIORS who remain in their set up as the SENIORS have the regionl cup.which all the new clubs in the senior set up will play in.

Why. The east of scotland senior football league / asscoation. Run the regional cup between the s.o.s. and the LL league.when the west of scotland senior league comes into being that will be included in the compition.sorted.then when the north senior league get done that to will be included. Anything junior histories.traditions.can stay with the S.J.F.A. allowing any club who does not want change can stay in their league.

All these clubs who if voted in.will be like the other clubs they will play in the east of scotland senior football league.which has its own rules and its own constitution. Which run in line with the S.F.As.nothing like the juniors. most teams leaving are doing so for a change to a better orginised league. Late applicants are now leaving as they will be secluded.travel costs. gate monies.snd sponsors will be effected.

The format in the west should and will be a west of scotland league.to mirror the south and east of scotland.3 leagues working within the pyramid.play off's and promotions.its freedom of of choice any clubs not willing to take part stay junior. thats the future!!!!. then we start on the north juniors trying to bring them in. Remember clubs on this forum have said both.some want to change some dont.?

Got to honest guys.some people on this thread seem more determined to slag. insult. and abuse. People who's clubs have moved or are open to move to the pyramid.it sort of sums up the thread The juniors what is the future suppose i will be next.

No.!!!! read my statement its not the teams that have set them selfs abouve but your regions.weather you like it or not access to the scottish cup and any monies gain have always been a factor.never said the s.o.s was the only route for the west clubs.again this needs to be sorted. !!! we were always told the juniors are not interested in the pyramid when its been proven not to be true. but your looking to come in on your terms instead of itegration playing throught the system just like the new clubs who have joined the e.o.s.i have posted about starting a w.o.s.league many times. did so earlier but until you try and do something anything to get it started there are still two avenue's of access. it just does not happen people make things happen.dont take this the wrong way. but 13 clubs made this whole debate happen by seeking change which they think will better their situation.

I do agree with that.but for a west league to start in time for the new season there needs to be appitite from west based clubs. if 10 or 12 said they wanted to give it go this is what you do.adapt the e.o.s.rules pick a board amoungst the clubs.ask the e.o.s.fixture secatary to do you fixtures arrange board meetings once a month. can do it by confrence calls. SORTED one season then see if you can expand.

The headline for this thread the juniors whats the future. Plain and simple you set yourselfs aloof and were not interested in the pyramid set up.but wanted to stay in your own world whilst hoping to play in the scottish cup. this i dont think! is going to happen for all. a few forward thinking clubs saw this.and decided to apply to the east of scotland tear6. NOW your trying to come up with plans to put your super league clubs in the top. The future!!! apply to the e.o.s or the s.o.s. because i dont this being sorted anytime soon. or if the grade ( junior) means that much to you stay put.re-orginse your leugeas as you never played in the scottish cup before.the s.f.a.brought this in 11years ago to try and unifie but Again you stood back as you thought you were better than that.

everybody was fully on board but the juniors thought that they were to good to take part.they wanted to stay in their own wee bubble.with their own wee league.now because some teams in the east have seen a better chance to progress their clubs through the pyramid league. you are looking to ridicule the e.o.s.there has been talk on this board about the e.o.s.starting and running the w.o.s.but no clubs have asked they go about it. if you cant or dont want to improve your clubs then please stop being so derogtory about teams and a league who took a massive blow when they lost 14 clubs over 2 seasons but are still going strong and have encouraged their clubs to try and get their licences.

Does anyone know the out come of thursdays p.w.g meeting and if their meeting again. or leaving it till next season.

East of scotland have offered to start a w.o.s.league.adapt their rules.need at least 12 clubs to start but none have come forward.

The lowland league was started by 12 east of scotland clubs.who wished to change.they only sought s.f.a. sanction for the scottish cup which they all played in.they also asked the juniors and were ridiculed.if its right then a west of scotland league could start in time for the new season ahead.use the e.o.s. rules get 12 to 16 teams to start.ask their fixture secatery to do the fixtures tear 6 in the west sorted. o r just WAIT.

The east of scotland.is not a new league it was formed in 1931.theres new teams joining.been told by them to start they will run 2 comparable leagues with both winners playing a super bowl type game for a champion.doing this keeps both leagues at level 6.

The e.o.s s.o.s plus the lowland play for the south regional cup.ties are regional to start then all in.the 3 leagues put money in the pot to cover travel costs in the later stages.

Think the leadership has to come from lithgie and boness.not to forget about all they a achived in the past.but what they can contribute and achive now.that goes for the others.2 leagues of 16/18.just think of how good that would be.
