Football is a simple game.
Ayr we’re one of the few teams with players names in their tops, and they ended up being promoted.
Names on tops is only required in the top 2 leagues. Proof that if you think big and it will happen.

Not entirely happy with the decision, and don’t have a clue who Bill Clarke is, however on the positive side perhaps we can dispense with some of the jokers who have had a wage in the last 2 seasons.
Big Physical midfielder, keeper who can actually deal with a back pass and a left back please.

As far as I can recall we have on the most part played direct football.
Whether it’s the keeper hitting it long, or a defender hitting it into the channels is has been direct football.
Style of football only gets brought up when your not winning.
With regard to McKinnon he was direct (hoof to Jon Daly) until he got the loanees signed up in january.

If Smith stays, he’s only going to be 3-4 poor results from the bullet, especially as the compensation fee will lower with time.
in my opinion he’ll start next season, but will be gone by Christmas

I’ve never been so fucked off with our team, as I am right now.
I took relegation last season as it was a cluster f**k of a season, and we did put up a fight in the last game. I accepted Saturday, as we had lost out to the better team, but that gutless display last night took the biscuit for me.
Rarely have I seen such a piss poor performance when there is so much at stake. Players hiding behind their markers, and blindly panicking and passing the ball on, rather than take control.
Sad times.

Callachan was a midfielder full of energy who would run from box to box, we just never replaced that energy or athleticism.
Re the season ticket olders, I don’t get the issue to be honest.
Should Raith and Dumbarton both get through, they will no doubt get priority for the away leg tickets.

Considering our players are shit, tactics are shit, managers shit, directors are clueless, we’ve nae money and our stadiums falling down...
We’ve did well to run The Best Ayr Team in a generation so close.
