Surely that's the only way to do it?
Whilst Locke's signing policy was clearly shambolic, you can't really have the board telling him who to sign. They appointed him and therefore had to back him.I think there should be consultation, as with any staff appointment

Would like to see the part of the interview that was cut when Davie mentions the signing policy.
from what I heard on the interview, it looked like Locke had a free reign to sign who he wanted as long as he didn't break the budget, that can't be the right way to do it.

Where are all the ITK fans, was expecting leaks from todays meeting by now

I heard that John had applied for the job before Locke and didn't even get a call backI'm sure we would all have jumped up and down with excitement if McGlynn got the gig 12 months ago.

See Bill Leckie in the Sun today reckons if Raith had stuck with Locke who had them "hard to beat" they wouldnt have gone down..........
With nonsense like that I hope he is dropped by the Hall of fame team

I've had strong views on Drysdale for more years than I care to remember. I still don't get how the guy has engineered himself into the most important position within the club despite having invested no money. The exact opposite is now the case because he's taking a salary from the position, which wasn't the case when he initially became secretary.
We survived before without a CEO and could no doubt do so again.
Don't need a CEO in the seaside league

If DUFC get £750k from Andrew Robertson's sell on clause, I would expect us to do an updated 'Livi3 deal'
With a few calls and texts offering Bene, Callachan and Vaughan for £10k.

No, what I'm saying is the poster I quoted said every pass went to a Brechin player, that wasn't the case as he set up a goal.
he should have been off before Matthews yesterday, saw on FB that he has applied to be a fireman, so obviously planning for P/T

Will we be able to get rid of Davidson now?
He's not one of the two years contracts is he?
Yesterday I could not believe that Hughes did not sub him.
I can't remember Davidson putting two passes together, everything he touched seemed to go to a Brechin player!1
Not only an absolute joke but has a huge Billy Big Boots attitude..
His through ball set up the 3rd goal, but don't let that get in the way of your rant

Colin Cameron or Danny Lennon as next boss, as directors try to rally fans behind ex player.

Taken from Matt Elder's match report. Worrying stuff indeed.
Not really, would expect that to be the concern every season.
need to cut out some 'fat' from the club, we have 6 non playing members of staff on the bench wtf is that all about

Really pissed me off that the loan players took the responsibility of the penalties.
club captain surely has to lead from the front in that situation.

Get him to do the 50/50 draw on Saturday and we can show him he is wanted by the support

Still has a year left on his contract.
No doubt some fans will be delighted about this, but he'd be a huge loss for us.
Vastly under rated player for us.

Cuthbert did the presentation for player's player of the year and in his announcement said something along the lines of, "Maybe just as well the gaffer isn't here because he wouldn't like this... Bobby Barr!"
I can't help but get the impression that Hughes has kept players out who he perceives to have a bad attitude even though it may be to the detriment of putting out our strongest side.
This isn't unique to Hughes, every manager does this.

I fucking love Lewis. A total professional and a great wee player. If we go down I can't see us keeping him, which is a shame because him and Jonny Court have the makings of a great front two. Not only that, but a front two produced by our own academy. If we can get those two, Matthews and Callachan in the team then it's something I could really get behind. There's nothing better footballing than supporting "your own".Unless it's Davo

Getting 'guys who aren't retired' is a big ask.
Especially if they work full time, have family and don't live close to Kirkcaldy.
totally agree on the ex players as hospitality hosts, surprised this isn't already happening.

Perhaps we are happier with someone telling us the truth than the usual 'wee run of the green' bullshit we were fed for years

Think Yogi has been reading 'No Hunger in Paradise' by Michael Calvin.
great read about young players getting into academies and thinking they've made it

So what is the criteria for a 'new' board member ?

Wholesale clear out required after play offs..from top to bottom. Drysdale needs to front up why he allowed Vaughan to go on loan to a relegation rival.
Front up ?
Manager wouldn't play him, but board wanted to keep him, and Dumbarton were the only ones willing to pay his wages.

Pish, we'll blow the budget to get up next season, end up in the play offs and f**k them up
