Why shouldn't we. All the best sides play with creativity in the middle of the park. The best Raith sides in the past 20 years or so had quality creative midfielders that scored the goals when the strikers maybe didn't.
We havent had a good centre midifelder (who can score goals) for longer than that

We have central midfielders but im struggling to name one that can open up the play, play a killer pass and score 10+ goals a season.
We dont play that way. We play guys like Davidson and Toshney to stiffle the middle of the park, and ask wide players to create.

I'm fine thanks. He was my number one signing priority of the summer. I'd have rather had him than Aiden Connolly if being honest so I'm a big disappointed with his choice understandably. He's basically signed for a man who told him, he wasn't wanted. Not sure why anyone would do that to be honest.Money ?

This may sound bitter but I assure you it's not...
Stevie done what was asked of him last season and for that I have no complaints. There were however a number of concerns for myself, and numerous others throughout the season. Most notably our away form which was the worst in the league. I believe from Christmas onwards we only scored a singular goal away from home (last day against Alloa), it really was attrocious stuff and I started to grudge paying the money to travel

I would prefer an articulate ex player with international experience, who has worked/is currently working in Scotland with youth team experience.
Need to remember we have a young squad and this needs to be managed and nurtured properly, with some ex top league younger players added with points to prove.

Hope we get big time compensation. I'm going all out for Shelley Kerr as replacement, there's f**k all in League 1 or 2. Fair play to Naismith, when he was touted last time the argument was he's done nothing in management but guide a mid table League 2 side to mid table in League 2 but he's won that league. I think he'll be our preferred choice but is it another manager from the school of Jim Jefferies...
