Anyone blaming the officials today is at it, blame is squarely on McKinnon and the players.

Absolutely, not playing Whatley is daft as Robson and Hutchison were absolutely lost little boys in midfield together. We need to get Moore in there too.

Our home first halves are a recurring nightmare of passivity and sitting off opponents to give them the impetus. This comes from the manager and his tactics, they are diabolically negative and it is hurting us every single week.

Have seen flashes of what he can do but nowhere near enough. Like most yesterday was far too deep for far too long. Bizarre that we didn’t change it at half-time and waited until half way through second half. Was almost instantaneously better. This passive first half’s was a problem late last season and seems to be something we are doing this season. Not a fan of it at all.

We absolutely need more up top but bigger problem for me is how negatively we set up. A proper 5 at the back and two holding midfielders at home to Elgin? Utterly grim viewing up until he changed formations with the subs, was far too late though. Like we were happy with a draw for most of the game.

It did , however, f**k over many Last Man Standing entries so there is that.

Setting up at home as if we were playing Real Madrid can get in the bin. Five at the back , two holding midfielders and nothing even resembling a striker ( Watson was hopeless). Not an ideal start.

Thought we were excellent last night in all areas. Moore, as mentioned was tremendous given that is not his normal position. The difference when a team has an actual striker that competes and holds a ball up to them is night and day to what we were doing last season, you can tell the other players actually think the may get it back when the ball is played forward. Think it will come down to other results whether we qualify or not but whatever, the three games certainly suggest that we will be a completely different proposition this season and should be challenging at the top if we continue to perform as we have.

Can't see 8 points being enough unless, as you say, it's to top the group. Even 9 might miss out.
