  1. I think am right in saying that Whyte, Munro, Brindley and Nditi were already signed on two year contracts hence why they are still here?
  2. Agree that our goalkeeper and defence are fine for this level , the problem is lack of chances created and taken. Cannot believe we have not tried McLeod right through the middle as yet, either let him play off Skelly or have Patterson in behind him, cannot be any less effective than what we have done so far. The heart of the problem is the move to ‘local’ players, it has deliberately hamstrung our squad . Fair enough it may be a money based move but that wasn’t how it was sold in the Summer, local players would gel better and be better able to attend training was the line. Hasn’t fucking worked. Would be better with some players on more expenses that knew where the goals are.
  3. Don’t share your confidence, another addition to our Scottish Cup exits to non league teams incoming ( and hopefully Raymond outgoing).
  4. Indeed, Jim Weir led us to out highest finish in years (2nd in League One) after that. What we'd give for a Hilson / Baird / Easton frontline now!
  5. Think a lot stems from us having such poor couple of seasons. Very little excitement on the park. Know several fans that have stopped going to games because it is just no fun. Think this local players policy will be the worst thing we could have done.
  6. Elgin and Clyde are basketcase clubs this season having binfire seasons and we will still finish below them.
  7. Indeed, been a bugbear of mine for Ray's tenure, his determination to pull everyone back for corners. Sums his negative approach up.
  8. The local signing policy has proved an absolute disaster as could probably have been guessed. We need to ditch that come January and get some actual League Two level players in ( hopefully under a different manager). To be blunt we are worse that Irvine levels now.
  9. After a good first 10 minutes we just fell more and more out of the game until we inevitably conceded. Second half was embarrassing, gutless and without any kind of plan or organisation, doubt Stenny will have an easier half this season. McKinnon out.
  10. Just my opinion. I hope you are correct but have seen nothing to suggest it, the team and manager are weak, ineffective and don’t really seem to care - a dangerous mixture.
  11. To me it’s a three way battle with Elgin and Clyde. If we can’t sort out some home form then fear for us. Elgin and Huntly away should be the tipping point I would think.
  12. Defensive shambles for all the goals. Also did not understand the triple change just as we were back in the game. Peterhead very clinical, not hard to see how they are top.
  13. McKinnon appears to be genuinely clueless about how to play a game in the first half. His changes at half time were spot on and got us a deserved point we at no point looked like getting in the first half. Patterson and Whyte need to be starting next week, you need to reward good play and not pick players because they are favourites of the manager.
  14. Embarrassing stuff. Not a good time to be a Loon in here.
  15. Agree with this, results have been poor but have seen that many times before BUT what is killing my enjoyment is our ultra negative tactics, we seem to never commit bodies forward and is is just so boring to watch. Didn’t buy a season ticket this season and suspect will be really tested In term’s of finding the desire to go and watch this negative, passive pish all season.
  16. Strongly disagree with this statement. There is a terribly unbalanced squad with a couple of decent players and virtually no attacking threat.
