  1. Played them both. Enjoyed Fenyx rising quite a bit but I saw a lot of people saying it was a bit of a Zelda-lite ripoff but I haven’t played a lot of the Zelda games to compare. Valhalla is pretty solid, there’s a lot of content in it. I think Origins and Odyssey in particular are better recent AC games but that’s not to say Valhalla doesn’t have its moments too. £22 seems decent value to me.
  2. Aye, wasn’t another young lad Fletcher Boyd linked to a similar move recently as well? Youth development must be brutal just now. Almost anyone showing real promise is getting hoovered up by the same clubs down south. I think the boy Jordan Campbell is the only person who has blocked me on twitter that I know of back when he was the athletic’s Rangers correspondent.
  3. seen rumours of this on twitter but still a little surprised to see it actually happen. What a disaster of a signing.
  4. With Warnock saying the game plan changed after Jensen took ill this morning I think it’s fair to say he can’t really rate McDonald or Milne as CB options if he thought that disastrous lineup was a better option. Playing 4-5 players out of their preferred position (some wildly so) rather than just slot one of them into Jensen’s place seems very bizarre.
  5. Hopefully that's bad enough to be the last time we see 3 at the back starting at least.
  6. The return of 3 at the back? Only one recognised CB in that lineup.
  7. He’s out of contract in the summer so almost certain he’ll be replaced. No idea what’s happened to Roos as whilst not as good as Lewis was when he was at his peak with us he still made the SPFL team of the season last year. He looks to be guaranteed to give away a goal every game now. Don’t think Doohan is up to much but must be worth giving a chance at the weekend.
  8. Given the number of promotions he’s won he can’t have been the underdog in all of them surely? He must have a reasonable amount of experience with teams that take the game to their opponents.
  9. Saw The Iron Claw tonight and thought overall it was pretty decent. Pretty bleak as I expected given the subject matter. Was interested on how they would show a lot of the events as I read up a lot about the Von Erich family back in the days I used to watch wrestling and they condensed a lot of the time involved and the movie ended up feeling a little rushed. I honestly think the subject matter is interesting enough it could have been a decent mini-series for one of the US streamers rather than trying to squeeze it all into two and a bit hours.
  10. They are such a disaster. Good chance that studio would be getting shut completely if they weren’t co-developing Fable for Microsoft.
  11. That’s kind of the problem with Lennon though. You can’t separate the other stuff from his managerial achievements. There always seems to be some kind of drama or circus around him and I fear there would be another “didn’t resign but didn’t get sacked” level situation again in another 18 months. Admittedly an Aberdeen manager lasting 18 months is fairly rare nowadays though…
  12. I think every country releases a new kit before the major tourneys normally so it’s pretty likely. The last Euros being delayed probably made it an exception.
  13. Even before that, as soon as that purple patch of wins ended last season cracks started to appear. Pretty much from the moment he got the job permanently the sides performances cratered. I remember feeling that the side limped into third place after the split. As good as that initial run of wins was it’s remarkable how bad Hearts and other sides had to be for Aberdeen to finish 3rd.
  14. It’s amazing to me the lack of vision pundits at the major media outlets in this country have. Just having any kind of association with one of the big two can be enough to get your name mentioned for a ton of jobs. Seeing names like Malky Mackay, Callum Davidson and Neil Lennon mentioned you get the impression they don’t want to put forward a name that isn’t someone they already know and may be on friendly terms with.
  15. The form that got McInnes sacked was probably worse than Robson.
  16. Aye as others have said I think it's almost certain they'll go for someone with more experience this time. No idea who that would be mind you. Alex Neil and Lennon are the two obvious names that will likely be mentioned but obviously have their own issues.
  17. Incredible him complaining about the squad being leggy when he dropped players like Barron who’ve played way less than almost every other midfielder. That combined with the stat showing we used the least number of players and second least number of subs in the league show he is full of it or just clueless. Or both.
  18. He certainly should be, only thing that makes me think he won’t is that they’ll likely have nobody in place for the interim period and won’t want to leave whoever they end up with against the old firm for two games in a row. If he’s not gone imminently then I think they’ll keep him until after the Scottish cup game.
  19. This is perfectly setup for the inevitable Curtis Main scrappy winner.
