I see the guy Cifuentes that was mentioned a few times in the past when we’ve been looking for managers has been appointed by QPR. Interesting to see how he gets in but that’s obviously one less option for when Robson inevitably gets punted.

For sure. The lack of wingers could potentially mean moving guys like Duk or McGrath into the wider positions of needed but wouldn't be too much of an issue I think.
Not sure if Robson will want to do that at the moment with the number of centre backs and forwards we have but little depth elsewhere. Possibly a worry that for all the CB's we have Jensen and Gartenmann are probably the only ones that would suit a back four. Couldn't see Rubezic, Macdonald or Williams fitting it.

Robson's remark about not being able to play through Killie if not a misquote is genuinely one of the most worrying things I've seen from an Aberdeen manager.

Hard to imagine how this season could have gone much worse. Actually think the first 11 and main backups assembled are pretty decent but something has gone badly wrong for performances to have dipped so badly.
Built a pretty big squad that should have been enough to handle the extra games but he’s clearly incapable of or unwilling to rotate the squad. There must be at least half a dozen players that have been a complete waste being at the club this season.
Personally I don’t see them punting him just yet even if we lose both games this week.
The squad does seem built around this formation so if any change is made to it it will be interesting as the squad would no doubt look fairly unbalanced and need a decent amount of shifting in and out come January whether that’s with Robson or a new man.

Robson saying Rubezic had a knee issue but is now fine and able to play. Not that it looks likely the game will be going ahead tomorrow anyway.

First half I had the fear every time Haaland had the ball 25 yards from goal or less but man it was really shocking how meek Norway were in the second half. As the commentary said even the crowd were near silent for huge parts of the half. When the board went up for 8 mins injury time I expected some kind of roar to get them going but there was next to nothing. Bizarre.

As a massive pessimist I really can’t handle things going so well so quickly in a campaign. I know Norway gettting something from the game would likely have been a massive benefit to us long term but at least I don’t have the worry of us having to play Georgia away with something riding on it. The scars from last time are bad enough.

Quite a few first teamers involved in the game against Fraserburgh tonight. Dadia will go down with cramp after a few minutes no doubt given how little he’s played so far.

Glad we seemingly spent months trying to sign Gueye only to appear to have no idea how to fit him into the team even when we’re chasing a late goal.
Not that he’s impressed particularly in what little time we have given him.

Even more direct if anything this half so far. Hopefully the subs bring a bit more energy in midfield. Assuming the ball isn’t just continually launched over them of course.

That’s been pretty grim. Bypassing the midfield again with the same poor results.
Definitely looked the right decision for the goal. Hard to argue Duk wasn’t interfering in play.
